Taeri

I was sitting in my bedroom staring at the ceiling.

It is still unreal how I have the privacy of my bedroom, even today. So many years later, I can't believe no one is watching over me.

The paranoia is real, but there is no camera in my room, there is no guy claiming to be my driver and bodyguard reporting each and every moment to my mother.

It's unbelievable that I'm free.
I'm really free.

I wrote diaries about each and everything she did to me. I couldn't remember most of it but then I found my old diaries, not one page where I have taken her name. I used to write in codes in my own diary.

I had no space or individualism of my own.

Everything I was, was decided by her.

Looking at the ceiling, I sighed.

I could lay on my bed and no one will say I am being a useless piece of shit or something.

Nobody makes me work till the last breath and still criticises me for being lazy.

But I'm so hooked to the past and how I was raised because that is the only life I know, I still can't be free.

Freedom is at my doorstep and I'm ignoring the knocks.

I was at the airport, Taeri's driver picked us up and we were dropped at the private airport.

Sarang was in a tutu skirt and a shirt, she had a small bag on her back filled with I dunno what. I am just happy it passed the TSA.

Jungkook, his dad, ven and her family everyone is there. I could see jungkook talking to Taeri's secratary who was worried and calling her. Ryan was already there with his friend who is a girl.

He said when Taeri left a night before and hasn't returned until now. It was worrisome at this point.

We have been waiting for Taeri since the last 30 minutes. After she dropped me home yesterday night, I didn't hear from her.

So I was getting worried but then I heard the sound of heels against the ground in a very familiar rhythm

"I'm sorry, I'm late" she said and speed walked

"Noona" Sarang screamed and Taeri ran to her to hug her

Some guy rolled her bags behind her and then behind them all was Kim Taehyung.

All of us gasped.

Jungkook and I ran towards him slamming into him with a hug.

"Jiha would meet us at the destination" Taeri said and Taehyung's ears perked up.

The pilots immediately turned towards her and bowed, something was discussed and the pilots entered the two private planes.

I wasn't focused on anything, I simply looked at her as Ava told them to enter which plane. The elder family members went to the second one and ven's grandmother took Sarang with her.

The first plane was filled with us. Secretary ava later bid us bye and ran away.

While Taeri fell asleep as soon as she was buckled up in her seat.

"Where had you been?" Jungkook asked Taehyung

He smiled " There has been some disturbances, I was catering to that. Last week we also released for the news of the death of the president. I was unreachable. Taeri tracked my secret base over night, cut a deal with my direct senior and then dragged me here. She hasn't slept, she is sleeping now" Taehyung said and my eyes widened.

I told her I was missing Taehyung.

"Taeri is scarily genius" ven said and the rest of us chuckled.

My eyes went to Taeri.
She was comfortably sleeping.

I just told I missed Taehyung yesterday and-

"Ladies and gentlemen, we just landed in New Delhi, India. The temperature outside is 29° celcius and it's 5pm outside." The pilot announced.

The flight was 8 hours long, Taeri slept through all of it except when she woke up to eat lunch and then slept back again. The air hostess was moving towards her to wake her up when I told her to stop.

"I'll do" I said and she nodded before she turned around to leave. I looked up to see, Jungkook, Taehyung and ven starring at me.

I rolled my eyes and got up before walking towards her. I threw her hand bag at jungkook who grabbed it before I wrapped her pencil skirt around her legs and scooped her in my arms.

"Can you all bring my duffel and her handbag?" I asked and jungkook shook his head ferociously. Taehyung and ven's eyes were the size of a saucer.

Taeri snuggled into my chest, while I walked down the plane with her in my arms.

The elders on the other plane were already there, their plane landed before our's.

All of them looked at us and just looked at us. I saw Sarang gasp and cover her mouth. "Noona, princess" she said and I shook my head. That dramatic shit.

The cars were already there, I could notice everyone freeze when I carried her to the car. The driver opened the door and then I felt her body shift a little, a second later, she blinked her eyes.

She kept looking at me until her eyes widened and she screamed and a second later covered her mouth.

"I'm heavy, jimin!" She immediately screeched.

That made me chuckle, I put her in the car's back seat and buckled the belt on her, fixing her skirt.

She kept looking at me.

"You are not heavy Taeri. Whoever convinced you that you are heavy, simply didn't have the strength to lift you up. Didn't have the power to stand next to a powerful woman" with that I stepped back and closed the door. She kept on looking at me blinking her eyes like headlights.

I turned around to see everyone starring at me like they saw a ghost.
