Chapter 5

September 1, Tuesday

Katianne's POV

I sat in my homeroom classroom (which was mostly empty), still pissed at that son of a bitch Stone for even having the audacity to talk to Maeva.

After a while, most of the students have arrived, including two new students that I didn't recognise. Genuinely don't understand why anyone would transfer schools for senior year.

Either way, as the clock hit 7:50, Ms. Santiana (the most amazing teacher anyone could ever have, so sad it was my last year with her as a teacher) stood up, smiling at everyone.

"Hi everyone. I have a migraine, so I'm just gonna make this quick. We have two new students, Leonard Lee and Arthur Chase. I would need someone to show them around, so who wants to do that?" The teacher quickly uttered out, rubbing her forehead.

I fidgeted with my Harry Potter shirt (best books to ever exist, I don't care if it's overrated, it's amazing) looking around at nobody volunteering. "Ok, Kathrin, you're doing that. Come back here-- first break."

I rolled my eyes, playfully glaring at the teacher. "Anyways, rest of the time is yours." She stated, plopping onto her chair as everyone began their chattering.

Time skip

"And this is the science room." I finished saying as we arrived at the last room I had to show the pair. The one wearing glasses seemed to be inspecting the room, while the redhead just stood awkwardly.

Then I noticed Glasses (no I do not remember their names) wearing a Big Bang Theory shirt. "Nice shirt." I said, smiling. "You like the show?" I asked, trying to break the tension.

"Indeed. Big Bang Theory is in fact my favourite show." Glasses (goddamn, what was his name again?) responded, in a somewhat sophisticated manner.

"You're kind of like Sheldon." I stated, trying to have an actual conversation. Then Glasses started smiling. "Thank you. That is the best compliment anyone has ever given me." Glasses then declared.

"Do you know season 3, episode 9 of Big Bang Theory, when Barry Kripke filled that room that Sheldon was in with helium, it would've actually been impossible for him to survive due to oxygen deprivation." Glasses explained, while I nodded along. Well isn't he a smartass.

"You like Harry Potter?" He then asked, gesturing to my shirt. I nodded, about to say something before the redhead cut me off. "I'm still here, y'know?" He said, a thick British accent in his voice, the both of us shifting our attention to him.

"You're Kathrin?" He asked, reaching a hand out to shake, while I hummed in response, awkwardly taking his hand. "Arthur." He then said, giving a very... rich boy energy. Let's just hope he isn't like dickhead Oskar.

After letting go, I turned back to Glasses. "My name's Leonard. And don't worry, I won't shake your hand." He then stated, while I sighed.

Well let's hope these two don't end up ruining our lives.
