In the shadow of Hermione Granger.

Just a dream?

Sunday November 4th

As I sit at my desk painting, I cant get the dream out of my head, was it a dream or was it really happening? How did I get the cuts over my face? Was I sleepwalking again? I can still feel the sweat running down my back, so I get up and walk to my closet grabbing a set of clothes it's one of the hand-me-downs from Hermione, I grab a pair of jeans, a pink t-shirt and a pink zip-up hoodie, then I grab my towel and head down the corridor to the bathrooms.

I turn on the water and pour soap down the bathtub. I get undressed and slowly get down the bathtub, the hot water burns at first but I lower myself down and let the water embrace me, I lean my head back and close my eyes, but out of nowhere something stings, and as I open my eyes I can see the bubbles around me are not white anymore, they have turned red. I get up and rush over to a mirror, and what I see is rather shocking. On my back there is a big wound, and from it is blood running down my back and onto the floor, I take my towel and desperately tries to stop the bleeding, when the bleeding has nearly stopped my body is dry, I get dressed and I think to myself, "This is not normal, this cant be just a dream" I head down to the hospital wing to madam Pomfrey. When I arrive she greets me saying: "Hello miss Granger, how can I help you?"

"Hello Madam Pomfrey, I have this uhm wound on my back and it won't stop bleeding"

Madam Pomfrey: "That's not good, is it? Let's have a look shall we".

She points in the direction of an empty bed, I sit down and take my shirt off, and Madam Pomfrey cleans my wound, it stings at first but it gets better. After cleaning it she makes me put both my arms in the air and then she wraps a bandage around my upper body, just under my chest. When she's done, she says: "That should do it, come again tomorrow and get it changed, okay?"

"Thank you Madam Pomfrey, I'll come back again tomorrow"

Madam Pomfrey: "That's great, now you have a good day"

I get up from the hospital-bed and take my zip-up hoodie on, I take the T-shirt in my hand and walk back to my room.

As I get back I see Hermione sitting on her bed staring out in the air, I go over to her and lay my hand on her shoulder, she gives a little swish of shock and then she exclaims: "Where have you been, didn't I tell you to stay here?"

"Yeah, you did, but I was in the hospital wing".

Hermione: "And what were you doing there?"

"I was bleeding so I had to get a bandage on."

Hermione: "The wound on your head starting bleeding again?"

"No I was taking a bath because I was sweating and the water turned red"

I take off my zip-up hoodie to let her see the bandage, and she exclaims: "You have a wound there too? After the dream?"

"Yeah, it was where I got stabbed, it's just so wired"

Hermione: "I'm sorry, but I don't think its just a dream anymore"
