Chapter 12

Next morning

Sid got ready for his first day. He found out his class. Teacher had yet not arrive. Students were talking with each other.
Sid just settled down in one corner at the back. No one really noticed his presence. Teacher entered the class after few minutes. Everyone quickly settled down and greeted the teacher.

Teacher: Very good morning dear students. All of you please settle down

Everyone sat down on their seats.

Teacher: So students I don't know if you guys noticed or not but we have a new admission here in our class. That's Siddharth Nigam. Ummm

She looked around and found him.

Teacher: Ya there he is at the back. Siddharth please stand up bacha

Sid stood up reluctantly and everyone looked at him. He was not much used to attention.

Teacher: Okk so I hope each one of you will be friendly with him and help him in each everything he needs. And as almost half of the year is over, please help him cope up everybody. Okk?

Students: Okk ma'am

Sid sat down on his seat quitely.

Teacher: Okk great. And Avneet?

So here introducing Avneet Kaur Nandra. She is a topper back bencher of her class. Though she is notorious and also disturbs the class a lot, she is very helpful and an active student. She is one of the famous and teacher's favourite student.

Avu: Yes ma'am?

Teacher: Make sure he is comfortable here. Show him around the college. Help him wherever your classes are. Also provide him all thr notes and everything. Okk?

Avu: Of course ma'am

Teacher: And Siddharth in case you need any help, you can ask her at any time. You can exchange numbers also. She is also a hosteler. So she can help you even after college hours

Sid nodded his head.

Teacher: And Avneet help the boy. Don't spoil him like you are

She said in a joking way and everyone laughed.

Avu: Ma'am ab thoda asar to hoga hi na

Teacher shooked her head.

Teacher: Okk so let's start the class

She started with the attendance and then continued with her lecture. Bell rang.

Teacher: Okk so see you all tomorrow

All the students stood up.

Students: Thank you ma'am

Teacher left from class. Sid also took his belongings and walked out of class. Avu came running behind him.

Avu: Oh newbie stop

She caught him up.

Avu: What's your next class?

Sid didn't reply her. He quitely found out his class and went inside. She frowned but ignored and went in her class. He attended two classes. He was going for his next class when he suddenly met Avu on the way.

Avu: Oh hey. You just went like that in the morning

Sid: I don't need your help. You can go

Avu didn't really hear what he said.

Avu: This lecture of ours is same and there is break after this lecture. So I will provide you with notes and everything. We can go to cafeteria

They both went for the class. Neither she waited for his reply nor he was interested in giving her one. They attended their lecture. It was a boring lecture. Sid was sitting alone in a corner. Avu was sitting with her friends. They were making fun of the teacher.

Teacher: Avneet

Avu: Yes ma'am

Teacher asked her some question which she was not aware of.

Teacher: Please stand up. What is it so important for you guys to discuss that you guys are not paying any attention to the lecture. Can't you guys wait for the lecture to end?

Just then the bell rang. Avu and her friends felt they were saved.

Teacher: You guys are giving the presentation tomorrow for today's topic and I don't want any excuse. Tomorrow only come of your presentation is ready otherwise no need to show me your face for next two weeks. If tomorrow anyone of you is absent, I will suspend you from my class for next 14 days. Then enjoy yourself

She left glaring.

Avu: Itna boring topic hai. Pata nhi buddi khud kaise padati hai. Now she wants hum bhi padaye

Avu's friend: Chhod yrr kal ka kal dekha jayega. Hum log jaa rahe hai library hamara test hai. Tu to topper hai so already prepare karke hi aayi hogi. Chalo guys

Avu: Ya I am hungry. I am going to cafeteria

Her friends went to library while she left for cafeteria. She saw Sid also going there and went to him.
