Kamado Tanjiro | Messy Love

"Drink this, Tanjiro!"
You smile brightly, handing him the cup that holds his medicine.

"Thank you." Tanjiro smiled back, drinking the medicine quickly.

You work in the Butterfly Mansion with Aoi. Tanjiro and the others, Zenitsu and Inosuke came here to heal, of course.

You always try to fit in, even though your messy with things and tend to be clumsy most of the time.

Hours go by and Tanjiro walks past you. You look over your shoulder.
"Training again?" You ask.

"Yep!" Tanjiro looked behind himself, nodding his head.

"I think you should take a break. I mean, you're not fully healed.." You put your hands behind your back.

"...." Tanjiro closed his eyes for a second before opening them. "But, I have this random burst of energy. Please, Y/N, one more time? I promise."

You hesitate. "Okay, one last time." You nod.

Tanjiro's face lit up instantly. "Thank you very much, Y/N!" Tanjiro cheered as he walked off.
Your eyes widen as your heart starts to flutter, you notice a smile appears on your face. You take a step back, tripping on your feet.

You immediately rise to your feet again, walking off into the Butterfly Garden.

You sit on the front porch, rubbing your face with your hands as you try to calm down.

"Y/N?" You hear a familiar voice as you quickly turn your head to the right.

"Is everything alright?" Aoi blinked, flapping the white colored sheets in her hand.

"Oh, yeah. Um, everything's alright." You clear your throat as your voice becomes much higher pitched.

Aoi walks over to you, sitting down. "You can tell me." Aoi folds the sheets, setting them down.

You decide to hold this love for Tanjiro, shaking your head in a 'no' gesture.
Aoi slightly frowned.

"Alright." She'd inhale, rising to her feet.
"Don't be out here too long. Sun's going down soon." Aoi nodded, grabbing the sheets as she went inside the mansion.

You lean against the porch, pulling your legs against your chin.

"Hello? Are you doing alright?" The words enter your head, making you start to blush. You tuck your head on your legs, hiding your face.

"Y/N? You okay?" Tanjiro softly tapped you, checking if you were asleep. You flinch, shaking your head up and down while hiding your face.

"...We can talk about it if you want." Tanjiro smiled, sitting next to you.

You breathe heavily as your body starts to shake. Your mind starts to race, lifting your head up a little bit to see Tanjiro.

Tanjiro had a worried expression on his face. "Tell me, what happened?" He asked concerningly.

"Um...Tanjiro.." You lift your head.

"Nothing's wrong it's just.."

"Every time I'm around you, I start to freak out." You mutter.

"Oh, is that a good thing..?" Tanjiro lowered his voice as well.

"I think so, but hearing your voice makes my heart race, or makes me smile. Or even a bit more clumsy." You inhale sharply, balling your hands up.

"What I'm trying to say is, I love you Tanjiro." You look at him. Tanjiro smiles as he gently pulls you in for a quick hug.

"Y/N. You didn't have to keep those feelings locked up." Tanjiro let's go of your torso.

"Though, thank you for caring about me, Y/N." Tanjiro smiles brightly.

"Yeah... you're um, welcome." You almost forget how to speak for a second as you nod quickly.

You hugged Tanjiro one last time. He'd hug you back, this time, you never want to let go.

"I love you too, Y/N."

I think out of all the anime's I watched, Tanjiro is the most sweetest main character I ever seen.
