~*~ You placed your katana down next to you on the front porch, rubbing your hands together as they ached a bit.
You dip your head to the ground, catching your breath before continuing your training, only to be interrupted by a tap on your head. You lift your head up to spot Muichiro infront of you, blinking with a faint smile on his face.
“Hm? Oh, hello Tokito.” You greet him with a mutter. Muichiro noticed you were worn out at the time, so being the nicest he could this day, he waited, leaning against you affectionately. You put your arm around his back, on to his shoulder.
Muichiro paused for a moment, looking down. You gave a head tilt towards him with a confused smile. “You okay?” You question, patting him on the back. Muichiro gave a slow nod. “I um.. forgot what I was going to say..” Muichiro muttered, shutting his eyes to concentrate.
“Oh, right.” You mutter, clearing your throat. “Did you forget just right now or..” You ask Muichiro as he stands quiet, putting one finger up to your face a bit. You decide to stay quiet too, realizing he was trying to focus.
Minutes went by as Muichiro still was in focus, you tap your fingers together, looking around the garden. You decide to open your mouth, only for Muichiro to lift his head up again. “Okay.” He muttered, rising to his feet.
You gave him a confused look, blinking a few times. Muichiro held out his hand in front of you, wanting you to grab it as you did a bit hesitantly. Throughout the walk, Muichiro was in deep thought once again, sometimes you were the one to guide him so he wouldn't die.
Muichiro gave a nod to himself, picking up the speed in his walk. You feel a tug on your arm, not realizing he's out of his little thought bubble.
“Y/N.. I made this setup for us both.” Muichiro gave a proud nod, walking you through the bushes and trees that were in the way of the eyes view. You pause, letting out a small gasp as the scenery shows a flower field, some flowers lined up in a row, some scattered a bit in random places. And a small sheet to sit on, along with food and cups that hold water. It looked like some sort of romantic picnic.
“Aww, Tokito! This is so adorable!” You gave him a small, quick hug before running off on your own to look at more items up close. A small rustling sound was heard by Muichiro as he quickly eyed the bush with a slight squint. He didn't suspect it that much, since it was probably some sort of animal.
Muichiro eventually caught up with you as you sat down on the picnic sheets. You were worn out already due to the fact you ran place to place all over this area. Muichiro sat next to you, placing his head on your shoulder with a small exhale leaving his body. You grab a small snack from the open basket, taking a small bite out of it. Eventually, the bites became much bigger.
“This place is really nice, Tokito.” You pause, giving him a smile as he gave a nod. “How did you know this place existed?” You question Muichiro as he paused, clearing his throat a bit. “I ran across it..” Muichiro said in a bit higher tone than normal. You didn't question it that much, only shrugged it off and continued with your food.
You look over at Muichiro which was in a daydream again. You stare at him with a smile forming on your face. He's adorable like this. The thought made you chuckle a bit. You place your food down on a plate, leaning towards him as Muichiro snapped out of his dreaming, quickly looking at you. You pull your body back. Muichiro blinked at you.
“What were you doing..?” Muichiro muttered his question. You hold your breath, quickly thinking of something to cover your action. “There was a um.. bug on you and I tried to flick it off, but it ran away, so.. yeah.” You quickly reply, Muichiro rubbed the side of his face. “On my face?” Muichiro gave a head tilt as you nod quickly.
Muichiro didn't question your actions yet. Muichiro gave you a side hug squeeze, clinging on to your body. You hold this question close to you before finally asking him. You tap his hand, getting his attention. “I know this is probably weird but um..” You pause, your voice getting a bit softer and lower than normal. Muichiro listened closely. “Want to kiss?” You question, quickly speaking on top on those words. “If you want of course, I'm not forcing you..!”
Muichiro paused, looking down. “What's a kiss? What does it feel like? Is it helpful?” Muichiro questioned, blinking slowly at you. He's never at least heard of the word 'kiss?' Your heart melted a bit, the questions Muichiro said repeated in your head. “Well, um, do you want to find out?” You ask with a soft smile as he gave a slow, hesitant nod, trying to copy your smile.
You gently pull Muichiro closer towards your direction, getting interrupted by a small squeal-like scream. You both turn your heads towards the direction the sound came from. The bushes where Muichiro was standing by were no animals, they were people.
“Monitsu! Stop your screaming!” A voice came from out the bushes as you both inch towards it cautiously. Muichiro took a step forward, pulling the leaves aside to find Zenitsu, Inosuke and Tanjiro. “What?” You blink at them all. “What are you doing here?” You and Muichiro ask at the same time, your question a bit louder than his.
“Aargh! They caught us! Nice going, Monitsu.” Inosuke punched Zenitsu on the shoulder as he flinched, rubbing his shoulder with a whine under his breath. “I'm sorry, okay?! I couldn't help the cuteness.” Zenitsu huffed at Inosuke. Muichiro looked at Tanjiro, waiting for him to speak.
“Ah, right..” Tanjiro cleared his throat. “Sorry for spying on you two, but seeing you two together is adorable.” Tanjiro let out a small chuckle, giving a small bow. Muichiro didn't reply, only taking a step back.
“You think so?” You blink at Tanjiro as he gave a nod. Muichiro grabbed your hand, walking over the the picnic area. “Oh, well um.. nice seeing you!” You wave a goodbye gesture to Tanjiro as Muichiro dragged you back.
You both sit back down, sitting quiet for a moment. “So, about the kiss, right?” You mutter to Muichiro, giving a bigger smile towards him. Muichiro gave a nod, leaning towards your body.
