Rui | Together Forever

I need to adopt Rui right here, right now.

You walk around the forest, no sign of humans around your family's territory.
You spot Rui, approaching him slowly.

He spots your shadow as he turns around with confusion on his face.
"What are you doing..?" Rui questioned.

You wrap your arms around his torso, resting your chin on Rui''s shoulder.
"It's called a hug." You whisper.

"Well, stop doing it." Rui exhaled, not hugging you back.

You felt your heart waver and ache as Rui walked away from you with no hesitation.

The next day, you wander around the forest, looking for any suspicious activity. Suddenly, you spot sunlight hitting the trees. Without hesitation, you start moving your legs to escape the sunlight at all costs.

You look for your family's house. No sign of them anywhere. You start to run another direction where there's shade.

You catch your breath, balling yourself up, putting your legs up to your face.

"Y/N!" You hear a familiar faint voice that's calling your name.

You feel pulling on your back, eventually getting launched onto the air, landing into Rui's arms.

You blink at him, your face almost immediately going red.
"Thank you Rui.." You exhale, hugging him once again.

"Don't do that again." Rui shook his head. "I could've lost you."

Your eyes widened as a smile appeared on your face instantly.
"Aww, you do care about me.."

Rui didn't reply. He sets you down gently, entering the house to stay away from the sunlight.

You gaze at Rui, clenching your oversized cloth, smiling.

"Hey, Rui." You get his attention.

"Can we be together forever?" You ask, clenching your hands.

"The two of us?" Rui blinked.

"The two of us. Forever." You nod.

Rui slowly nodded, hugging your arm.
"We'll stick together forever then."

Your heart races for a monster, a demon that devours people.

Brutally murders people.

But he's special. Special in your heart.
