"Hey, Sabito!" You'd call the peach haired boy from afar, walking up to him with a bright smile.

"Hey, cutie." Sabito smirked, giving a half wave. "Oh, stop it." You'd nudge Sabito's shoulder, eyeing the sword in his hand.

"What are you doing? It better not be something dumb." You'd tilt your head, questioning. Sabito let out a chuckle. "Dumb? I never do anything dumb..!" Sabito responded as you let out a small snort. "Sure, idiot." You'd slightly tease.

"I'm practicing my sweet moves to get stronger! ... And to impress you." Sabito muttered the last few words that spilled from his mouth. "Hm?" You'd blink at Sabito as he quickly shook his head in a 'no' gesture.

"Well, get ready to wrap that up. Mr. Urokodaki's making us food soon." You'd poke Sabito's arm. Sabito swat at your hand playfully, letting out a small laugh. "Fine." He'd nod.

"Hey, Sabito..." You'd get the boy's attention as you leaned against a tree. "I wonder what Final Selection would be like." You'd eye Sabito as Sabito snorted. "Probably with creeeeepy monsters, demons, and bugs that can eat you whole!" Sabito grabbed your shoulders, shaking you side to side.

"Don't be ridiculous..! I'm serious." You'd pause, letting Sabito stop his action. "You know you're going to Final Selection less than a month now, right?" You'd question Sabito. Sabito gave a small shrug. "Yeah but-"

"That's the only time we're going to be separate. You know I'm going to be worried, of course." You'd cut off Sabito's words, letting out a small sigh concerningly.

Sabito shook his head. "Don't worry! I'll be careful!" Sabito paused. "And won't be dumb. I promise." Sabito patted you on the shoulder. You'd eye him for a second, inhaling through your teeth. "Okay. I believe you." You'd nod.

"Good! Now..." Sabito scurried around, looking for an item to retrieve. You'd look at the peach haired boy confusingly. "Aha!" You'd hear Sabito say under his breath, holding an item behind his back as he approached you.

"Open your hands and close your eyes real quick." Sabito said as you hesitated for a moment. "Why?" You'd question with a head tilt. "Do it for me." Sabito responded as you shrugged, doing as told.

You'd feel a small, tiny item in your hands. You'd open your eyes after Sabito told you to. You'd notice a small fox keychain that was similar to your actual mask.

Sabito looked at you with a big smile. "Now, we won't be separated anymore! You always have something to look at when I'm gone!" Sabito patted you on the back, showing his own keychain. A smile formed on your face. "Thank you, Sabito." You'd quickly hug him.

"Heh, it's nothin!" Sabito tapped your nose. "Didn't you say Urokodaki was making food? I'm starving!" Sabito slightly complained. You'd shake your head. "Stop overacting." You'd mess with his peach colored hair playfully before running off as Sabito chased you.

You'd clench your new keychain, holding it up to your chest.

A gift from his heart.

After all, he was your lover.
