You sit outside in the Butterfly Garden, resting your body. You wait till your sword has been finished.

The sound of the wind chimes catches your attention. You turn your head over at the Sun, squinting a little. You notice your swordsmith, Haganezuka walking towards you.

You brace yourself, getting ready to get scolded. You swing your legs off of the porch, rising to your feet.

"Ah, Haganezuka! Hello..!" You great him with a nervous smile, tilting your head to the side.

"Here is your sword. Freshly forged." Haganezuka dipped his head, giving you the wrapped cloth with your katana inside. You blink at him confusingly. "Oh. Thanks."

Haganezuka nods, turning the other way. You stop him, catching his attention. "Wait-" You pause. "Want to have tea with me...maybe?"

"Why not." Haganezuka accepted with a quick nod, turning towards you. You smile. "Great!" You guide him into the mansion.

You both sit down on the padded floor of a certain room. You tap your fingers against your foot, sitting in a criss-cross position.

"Question." You get Haganezuka's attention. "This time you didn't get mad at me for splitting my sword into two. Why is that?" You blink, tilting your head to the side slightly.

Haganezuka hesitated on your question, looking down at the floor. You wait patiently for an answer.

A few minutes go by, Haganezuka finally opening his mouth. "When does the tea arrive..?" He'd avoid your question. You slightly frown.

You decide not to bother him with the question again. The door slides open as you both look over your shoulders to find three little butterfly girls with small trays in their hands.

"Here's your tea!" Kiyo smiled, setting the cups on tea infront of you both.
"And a light snack to satisfy you!" Sumi set down the snacks of dango and rice balls next to Haganezuka. He'd eye the dango, grabbing it quickly.

"Enjoy!" Naho nodded as all three of them bowed. "Thank you guys. We appreciate it." You dip your head in respect as they all walked out the room.

You turn your head towards Haganezuka. "How about you? Are you enjoying-" You cut yourself off, noticing Haganezuka's mask is off.

You almost choke on the rest of your words. You blush a pink color on your face. Haganezuka looks at you with confusion, rasing a brow as he eyed you up and down.

You blink, noticing the rest of your words haven't spilled out of your mouth. You set the cup of tea down. "Are you... uhm, enjoying your food?" You ask with a faint smile.

"I am." He'd reply with a nod, taking bites out of his dango.

"That's good." You smile, chuckling under your breath.

You both sit in silence. You could hear the joy of Haganezuka with his dango.
You eyed him, looking back down at the floor once in awhile.

Days went by as you begin to form a bond with Haganezuka. You kept it secret that you loved him, though it was really difficult to.

This day you finally decided to confess to him. You were tired of keeping it a secret. You walk all around the Butterfly Mansion, scanning areas to find Haganezuka. You eventually find him at the doorway. You inhaled sharply, walking up to him.

"Haganezuka." You force your voice not to shake. He'd turn around.

"We've been together for awhile, and.." You pause, putting your hands behind your back.

"..And I've been forming feelings for you." You exhale, waiting for an response. You look at his mask, which was on his face again.

"Oh?" Haganezuka let out a muffled exhale, tilting his head.

"What I'm really trying to say is that I love you." You hold your breath, hoping for a positive response.

"Oh. Um." Haganezuka paused. "Swordsmiths and Slayers can't...love eachother." He'd reply. You exhale, feeling your heart ache a bit.

"Really? I never heard of that... Ever." You force your voice not to waver or crack.

"I'll be going now." Haganezuka nodded, turning the other way. You let him walk off. Left with a brokenheart, how painful could that feel?

You walk the opposite way of Haganezuka, sitting down on the porch. You'd rub your face with your hands. This feeling won't go away. It hurts. I hope it isn't permanent. You thought, looking at the ground of small pebbles.

You watch the sun set underneath the clouds, trying to calm yourself down and clear your mind. You end up falling asleep, the peaceful breeze hitting your body.
