Red's P.O.V
I WAS walking in the lobby with a document I am reading on my hand when I saw Kenji who seemed to be walking towards me. Kami lang naman ang tao rito sa lobby at mukhang sa gawi ko rin naman siya nakatingin kaya napahinto ako.
"Red..." bati nito sa akin nang magkalapit kami.
"Yeah, sorry I was out yesterday. You heard from Marie, right?" binaba ko naman ang papel na binabasa ko at binaling muna sa kanya ang atensyon ko.
"Yes. You need help from the Legal Team?"
Since I informed Marie the difficulties of our work with Mr. Drew's conflict in his company, I told her that it would be wise to have someone who have a knowledge about corporate laws and Kenji was the one that Marie recommended to me. Kenji is a commercial lawyer and his expertise is on business laws. Though I would have asked someone else from the Legal Team because I was never on good terms with Kenji.
"I would ask your team's help once we complete collecting information. You'd be the best person to consult about business legal matters..."
Kenji smirked at me and I don't know what's that for.
"I see you've got a small team. Don't worry, may available akong staffs na makakatulong sa inyo," he sounded proud and looked at me as if it's no big deal to him. Pero kailanman talaga ay hindi ko nagustuhan ang mga aurahan ng isang ito.
He's the type of person who is hard to predict when he's serious, mad or just playing around. He's been playing with women in our office like it's nothing serious.
"Thanks. Would appreciate it. "
"No worries. Three people would really have a hard time on this."
Akmang maglalakad na sana ako para lagpasan siya nang bigla pa siyang humirit.
"or four?"
"We're four in the team..." mariing pagtatama ko naman sa kanya.
"Ahhh, you mean the other one? The one you always get mad at. Hindi ko aakalahin ang Ace ng Investigation Deparment ay nagagalit pala..." humalakhak pa ito na para bang nagiging sarkastiko.
"I don't think we have to talk about this here..." mahinahanon kong saad dahil ayokong makipagusap nang mahaba kay Kenji.
"Alam mo bang ayaw na ayaw ko sa mga bully?"
Hindi ko maintindihan kung saan ang pinanggagalingan ng mga nanlilisik na titig ni Kenji sa akin. But I don't want this feeling that someone is trying to pick a fight with me and I don't even know the reason behind it.
"I thought there is no such thing as bully in a workplace," he scoffed.
"What do you want, Kenji? Aren't we talking about work here?"
"Why don't you tell your boss here what's going on with your work here?" Biglang tumingin si Kenji sa likod ko dahilan upang mapalingon ako.
I saw Faith behind who seemed to be trying to walk away from us. I think she's supposed to go back to our workspace because this is the only way to go there. Mukhang naabutan niyang naguusap kami ni Kenji kaya napahinto siya.
"What is he saying?" tumingin ako sa kanya pero umiwas naman ito sa mga mata ko.
"W-wala po..." tipid nitong sagot sabay nagmadaling naglakad upang lagpasan kami ni Kenji. Pagtingin ko kay Kenji ay napailing itong naglakad at nilagpasan din ako papunta sa salungat na direksyong pinuntahan ni Faith.

HINDI ko inasahang makakasabay ko sina Marie rito sa cafeteria dahil medyo late na kaming nag-lunch. I initiated to have lunch already and that is why I came here with Ran, Irene and Pats. Wala sa pwesto kanina si Faith kaya hindi nakasama dahil nautusan siya ni Ran na mag-print ng mga reports for tomorrow's meeting.
