Red's P.O.V
I WAS distracted by the knock on the door while signing some documents. Pagtingin ko ay pumasok si Rose at kaagad kong napansin ang suot niya. Mukhang pauwi na ito dahil hindi na siya naka-office attire.
Then I suddenly remember that it's Friday night.
"Just in case you need something from me, sa Monday ko na maibibigay," aniya habang palapit sa akin dala ang clutch bag nito.
Rose loves to go to bars and party all night. Naka-party attire na nga siya ngayon.
"Nag-reserve si Maico ng VIP room sa bar, I'm going with Faith because Maico keeps asking her to come. Darating din ang friends ni Maico, it's nice to have Faith meet them also..."
Napahinto ang pagpirma ko sa isang document sa narinig ko kay Rose.
"Mairco's friends? You mean the circle of friends you had in college?"
"Yup. The members of his basketball team. It's been a long time since we saw each other, anyway I should go. Faith's done changing..." aniya sabay sumulyap sa kanyang cellphone at dali-daling naglakad papunta sa pintuan.
"Wait--" bago pa man malapitan ni Rose ang pintuan ay tinawag ko siya.
"You're saying you're taking Faith in that bar? She doesn't drink..."
"Ha? We always go there on Friday nights. You have no idea how party-goer she is," humalakhak pa ito at dali-daling lumabas.
Sa kaibuturan ng isipan ko habang nagtratrabaho, hindi ko pa rin maisip si Faith na nagpupunta ng bar.
Napahinto ako sapag-iisip nang maalala kong nasa Japan nga pala siya ng tatlong taon. And she's been in a similar position like what she has now, it's possible that she would learn how to go parties like that.
Napatayo ako bigla kasabay no'n ay ang pagpasokj ni Dion sa op[isina ko.
"Mr. Chairman, I'd like to ask if you plan on going home tonight? So I can take you home before I go."
"Can I have an access to our CCTVs?" napakuyom ang palad ko nang mapagtanto kong wala naman ako sa position sumunod sa kanila.
"Right away, Sir."
Dion granted me an access to our security cameras installed in our floor. I searched for the right view to have a look at Faith who is about to leave her office. I zoomed the footage when I noticed how differently she is dressed.
Currently, she is wearing her stiletto heels, and black above the knee fitted dress that's exposing her chest but she covers the back of her body with her office coat. I watched how Rose and Faith walked to the elevator happily.
Mariin kong pinikit ang mga mata ko at in-exit ang window. I can't even tap her a message ask what she's wearing so I had to view a security camera footage. Anyone would think that I am not thinking normal.
I even had the guts to challenge her that I will chase her, making a sudden confession out a hectic dinner with her, and here I am who can't even send a message.
"May nawala po ba kayo, Sir?" untag naman ni Dion sa akin na akala niya ay mabigat ang dahilan ko kung bakit ko tinignan ang CCTV Footage.
"Do I have a free time on this weekend?" napatanong naman ako kay Dion. Agad naman niyang ni-check ang tablet niya para sa schedule n'yo.
"You have a dinner with Miss Anastasia tomorrow at 7pm. It's the blind date you promised with your Uncle, Sir."
Napasapo ako sa noo ko dahil ngayon ko lang naalala ang ni-set up sa akin ng kapatid ni Dad. He's a board member and he's one of the few who supports me. But he always tell me to get married with a powerful family to secure my position.
