Red's P.O.V
I ALWAYS visit, whether it's casual or not on every department in my office at least twice a month. Ngayon nga lang ay walang nitification ang heads na bibisita ako dahil gusto kong makita ang bawat department sa usual working day nila.
Admittedly, I should be doing better things since I have loads of works, contracts to approve and people to meet. However, because I don't know these people entirely like how Father knew them, I had to let them feel my presence a bit, and that is my way of earning people's trust.
Nauna akong bumisita sa HR Department at napatingin kaagad ako sa relo ko dahil 8 am na pero wala pa rin lahat ng staffs sa table nila. Naabutan ko pa sila sa pintuan na nagtatawanang papasok pa lang kaya naman mukhang nagalit ang kausap kong head nila. Kasama ko si Dion sa pagbisita ko at mabilis kumalat ang balita na nagbibisita nga ako ng bawat department.
The succeeding departments I visited may have been oriented by previous ones that I will visit them. All of the staffs are focused on work and the head seemed like he's been expecting me to come.
My next stop is the Investigation Department, at pakiramdam ko ito ang Department na may pinaka-ayaw sa akin. Since I am very skeptic person, they seem to misunderstand my questions and think that I am doubtful of how they work.
Pagkasilip ko sa glass wall ay napansin yata ako ng iba at nagbulungan silang magsipagbalik sa mga pwesto nila.
We have a new head in this department and his name ni Leo. Nang makapasok ako ay siya ang sumalubong sa akin.
"Good Morning, Mr. Chairman. I heard you are visiting today."
"Good Morning, Leo..." balik kong bati sa kanya at tumingin sa buong silid. My eyes stopped by the cubicle on the window when I saw Faith with two other guys who seemed to be discussing something important that they don't even know that I am here.
"Don't mind me. I just want to check on everyone." sagot ko naman sa kanya habang nakapako pa rin ang tingin ko kay Faith na mukhang masayang nakikipag-usap sa dalawang lalaki.
"Is there something...you want to see, Sir?" tanong naman ni Leo at napatingin kung saan din ako nakatingin at palipat-lipat ang tingin nito roon at sa akin. Ilang segundo pa ay narinig ko ang mahinang tawa ni Dion dahilan upang mapalingon ako sa kanya. Agad namang tumikom ang bibig nito nang tinignan ko siya nang masama.
"Nothing. But what's the name of those two guys there?" sagot ko naman kay Leo kaya napatingin kaagad ito sa gawing tinitignan ko.
"That's Raffy and Mike, Sir. They are working with Miss Faith on one of our critical case. I requested Miss Faith's help because she was helpful to us during the last complaint to us on one of our projects."
"I hope you understand Faith is working for my office," mahinahong saad ko naman sa kanya.
"Yes, Sir. But Miss Faith offered the help, at sino naman po ba ako para tumanggi sa isang katulad ni Miss Faith. In fact, everybody here likes her and wished she could work here with us."
Napakuyom ang palad ko habang nakikinig kay Leo dahil sa oras na ito gusto ko siyang kurutin nang hindi naman masakit.
"Miss Faith!"
Nawala naman kaagad ako sa pag-iisip ko nang bigla na lang tinawag ni Leo si Faith at bakas sa mukha nito ang pagkagulat niya nang magtama ang mga paningin namin.
Pansin kong nataranta ito at tila napaatras ang lalaking kausap niya nang dali-daling siyang maglakad papunta sana rito. Just when she's about three steps away from us, that is when she suddenly tripped herself and fell down on the floor.
