I woke up at 8:00 am the next morning, prepared for my first real date one on one with Matthew.

We had spent most of the night just talking, and now it was time for us to actually try this dating thing.

I got dressed in my favorite jeans and black cami, put on my converse, and slapped on some quick eyeliner and mascara, threw my hair into a ponytail, and headed for the door.

Everyone else was asleep, and I told them last night I was leaving this morning, so no one would worry.

We all got in at different times, but we talked for hours about our expirences.

Shawn had stayed at the table, and learned everything he could about Ashley. She was home first.

Next was me, and then Liz.

She has gotten the guy who worked at the counter to give her his number, and they had agreed on dinner later tonight.

He was attractive, I have to admit. And he was in his early twenties, so she got her "man".

Star came home the latest, because she and Taylor had fallen asleep talking at the park.

Now that is a relationship every girl needs.

I ran towards the lobby, almost too excited for this date.

He was just so adorable, and I loved how sweet he was. I was also overjoyed he'd wanted me out of the rest.

As soon as I stepped into the lobby, he was nowhere to be found, so I sat down on one of the little couches, deciding to wait.

I hadn't even thought to get his number, but I figured he would be here eventually.

I don't know how long I waited, but when he emerged from the elevator, I didn't care.

God, he looked so good in skinny jeans with vans.

The little bell above the door rang from the front, and I looked to find the guy from Brixx.

"Hey do you know which room Liz is in?" he asked me holding some flowers in his hand.

"You're a little early for dinner," I said.

"Ah no, I'm actually just dropping these off for her," he said.

What a gentleman.

I smiled and gave him our room. "1408," I told him.

He smiled with perfect teeth, and made his way to the elevator.

Matthew approached me, and pulled a single rose from behind his back.

"Guess I look kinda pathectic compared to him huh," he commented.

"Not even a little," I replied taking the rose. "I always loved a single over a bouquet." I smiled at how thoughtful he was, and looked up at him.

He wasn't much taller than my 5'4".

He grinned, holding out his elbow for me to take. As I did, he asked, "Are you ready for an adventure?"

"Totally ready," I said laughing at his serious face. "But where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see," he replied.

Ah, great.

More surprises.
