There is no way I'm doing this.

I thought of the many firey ways I could die, and there was no way it would be worth it.

No.

"Oh come on, it'll be OK," Liz encouraged me.

"Never," I replied.

I watched as an older man emerged from the main building, smiling and we watched as he began to make gestures at our "tour" while he spoke.

I was deaf.

I looked at the boys and my friends, and I knew I had to suck it up and just do it.

I mean Tumblr girls said it best.

You can only live once right?

I tuned into what the guide was saying, just in time to catch the end of his speech.

"Alright kids, so lets all head aboard the balloon, and up into the air."

I groaned, but shuffled my feet until I was inside the basket of the ginormous hot air balloon.

This was going to be interesting.

I held on tightly to the sides as the guide who the others called Fred, untied the ropes from the sides, and I felt our weight leave the ground.

I used all the energy I could to keep from screaming as we rose higher and higher into the air.

Once we hit the horizon, I couldn't breath.

Surprisingly, it wasn't because of the height, but because it was absolutely breathtaking.

LA was even more beautiful then I had ever imagined.

Fred was explaining some of the histories of some of the buildings and different sections of the beaches, but none of us were really paying attention.

It was too hard to tear our eyes away from the city.

I turned, and found Taylor with his arm slung loosely over Star, and she was giggling like a little girl.

I kept my eyes on them for a minute, and turned my attention to Ashely.

She set her hand on the side of the basket, and after watching Shawn notice Star and Taylor, he turned to Ashely with a smile and placed his hand over hers cautiously, watching her expression.

She blushed and turned her hand so that it fit perfectly in his. He smiled and began to sing softly, a beautiful sound even though I'd never heard the song, and I turned toward Matthew.

He was looking at me from the other side of the balloon, but just when it looked like he was about to start my way, Liz's hands came around and poked my sides.

"Hey, looks like everyone but me and you got guys. We'll go looking once we get down ok?"

I nodded and brought my eyes back to Matthew.

Now his attention was on the ground as it got closer and closer.

Damn.

"Can we go get some food now?" Ashely asked.

We all looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

As soon as we were fully grounded, it was pizza time.
