John was so excited when he finally got an eye transplant. His eyes were failing and he was desperate for replacements. But he didn't quite know what to think afterwards when they told him the donor he received his eyes from was a clown. John hated clowns. They downright terrified. And when he left the hospital, John finally understood why. The entire world was brighter than before. Colors popped brightly, and he saw smiles everywhere. It seemed as if the whole world was cheery and full of joy. Now John finally understood why he hated clowns. He actually hated happiness.
