Aaliyah sat next to Stiles bouncing her leg nervously and tapping her pencil waiting for the teacher to pass their tests back. Stiles tapped his pencil on Scott's shoulder getting his attention to ask one of the many questions that have been going through his brain all night. "If Derek isn't the Alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?"
"I don't know." Scott shrugged.
"Did the Alpha kill the bus driver?"
"I don't know." Stiles leaned back in his chair pouting his lips at the lack of a useful answer.
"Does Allison's dad know about the..." Stiles leaned forward.
"I don't know." Scott spoke louder than he meant to getting annoyed with the Stiles constant questions. He caused the rest of the class to turn back at the sudden noise. Aaliyah covered her mouth with her hand to muffle her giggles. The teacher placed the aced test on Stiles' desk before Scott's test with a large red D drawn on top.
"Dude, you need to study more." Stiles said leaning forward to look at the grade. The teacher then placed Aaliyah's test in front of her. She got an A also. Scott dropped the paper on his desk angrily. "That's a joke. Scott, it's one test. You're gonna make it up. Aaliyah can help you study. She super smart, she helped me."
"Yeah, I'll help if you need." Aaliyah offered. "Not today though, because I'm studying with Allison."
"Really?" Stiles raised his eyebrows.
"We're just studying." Aaliyah looked down at the paper on her desk hiding her smile.
"No you're not." Scott told her.
"Yeah. Studying is never just studying." Stiles informed the girl.
"Why is dating so complicated with these weird codes? Why doesn't anyone just say what they mean?" Aaliyah frustratedly placed her chin on her fist holding her head up and waited for the class to end, now worried about her study date with Allison.
