     The next day Aaliyah woke up thinking about the previous night. She was sure Mason believed her half-baked lie so he wasn't a problem. But the mysterious men, if they even were men, were a problem. She wondered if they had any connection to Kira. Aaliyah got dressed and left for school without speaking to anybody.

At school the power was out, like everywhere else in Beacon Hills after the incident with Barrow. She hadn't told anyone about the five men besides Stiles, she hasn't really spoke to anyone all day. She went to her morning classes and kept to herself, too much in her head about this new supernatural development to care about social interaction, holiday or not. She noticed some people had dressed up for halloween, but she hadn't, she had completely forgotten to even consider a costume idea.

During lunch Aaliyah decided to find Kira and make sure she was okay, and possibly try to sneak in a little interrogation. She found her eating lunch alone in the hallway and sat down next to her. A moment later Scott came from the opposite end of the hall and sat down on the other side of Kira. "I don't want to talk about it." The new girl told them. Aaliyah could hear her heart beat with anxiety.

"Okay. Want to talk about the pre-calc test on Friday?" Scott asked holding up his math book.

"There's a pre-calc test on Friday?" Aaliyah turned to school now worried about the test, so much for interrogating.

"Yeah. You didn't know?"

"I do now." Aaliyah sighed taking a bite from her lunch.

"The teacher takes all the equations right out of the book." Scott opened the book up but Kira closed it.

"Do you have your phone?" She asked. Scott nodded. "I'm going to show you something no one else has ever seen. No one except for Barrow. Take a picture of me. And use the flash." Scott held up his phone to Kira and Aaliyah moved out of the frame. The flash would make her eyes glow. Scott took the picture and Aaliyah peaked over his shoulder to see.
