((So... funny story, after trying for almost 2 years for a kid I'm pregnant! Apparently all I needed to do was write a fanfiction all this time 😂

In all actuality it's probably because this story is so relaxing for me. Less stress and all that.

Wish me luck with this. I'll need it. 😅

I'm going to write sooooo much fluff. I'm a sentimental basket case right now lol))

((And now you'll see a new side of Connor...))

———————-

Connor hated to leave Will alone at the house, but the orders he'd gotten for the bake shop still needed to be filled. He was working hard at getting them done as soon as possible when a customer came in, the bell chiming above the door as he continued in the back.

"Oh hello sir! Welcome to the bakery!" Penny said happily from up front, the house elf handling most of the actual selling. He was grateful for her help with that, even after he'd freed her. He wouldn't want an enslaved house elf, it just didn't sit right with him. She had wanted to help afterwards anyway though, so he paid her a percentage of the profits each day. She made more than some wizards in town, now.

"Yes, hello, I'm looking to order a dozen cookies for next week?" A woman asked idly.

"Oh! Yes of course, let me get the baker to find out what ingredients we have fresh this next week." Penny said happily, peeking her head around the corner.

"Ma- uh- Mr Lupin, a customer has a question about cookies, sir."

"Be right there, Penny." Connor smiled, patting the flour off his hands before using his apron to wipe the rest off as he went out front.

"Hello, yes I was hoping you had some chocolate or raspberry flavors available?"

"Oh chocolate for sure, raspberry may be a bit more difficult this time of year, that's usually a spring flavor. I have blue-" he stared as a familiar face walked by the window of his shop, his blood turning cold.

"Excuse me." He said quickly, grabbing his wand out of his pocket and rushing out the door.

Penny stared in bewildered shock as Connor ran out of the bakery so quickly and bolted down the street past the window. "Um..." she looked up at the customer anxiously before smiling with an awkward laugh. "Sorry about that! He was going to say we have blueberry flavors right now." She smiled, though glanced toward the window in confusion.

————————-

Connor looked for him through the crowd, his blue eyes turning angry when he spotted the head of dark hair ahead of him. He remembered that face... he would probably remember it for the rest of his life as he saw him laughing as Will burned.

Fucking prick.

He caught up to him and pulled him by his coat into the alley next to them, slamming him against the wall as Kyle let out a yell of surprise.

Connor met his gaze, feeling a sense of grim satisfaction at the shock in Kyle's eyes that he'd been recognized while walking through Hogsmeade.

"What the fuck are you doing in my town, you little maggot?" Connor hissed angrily at him, holding the tip of his want against Kyle's throat.

Kyle obviously wasn't expecting this reaction from him, his eyes going wide. "And here I thought you were the nice one." He laughed in amusement.

"Oh, you're sorely mistaken." Connor pressed the wood of his wand harder against his skin. "Will is the nice one. I'm the one you don't piss off." His gaze turned darker as he looked down to the shorter man, looming over him. "And you really pissed me off."
