Sebastian was nervous about this meeting with Love, mostly because he had to leave Ominis and Diane in the park while he did this. He hated being away from them still, but... in a muggle park they were probably safe. It's not like Kyle could attack them there, not with the Ministry so close. Kyle may be dangerous, but he wasn't stupid... as much as he wished he was. Kyle was a coward, but a smart coward.

Archinald looked up in surprise as he approached, giving a little sigh of relief. "Sallow! It's been a while since we've seen you, I was getting worried. I heard about that attack in Hogsmeade, it was all over the papers!"

"Was it?" He said in shock. He hadn't expected the news to spread so quickly like that. His little corner of the world was usually so secluded from the rest of the Wizarding world.

"Of course! Hogsmeade is a place every Hogwarts student remembers fondly, it was distressing to hear it was attacked by dark wizards! Luckily the Ministry managed to send enough aurors to hold them back." Archinald sighed in relief.

Sebastian felt his teeth clench in ire. The Ministry had only sent Natty! What were they talking about?! Diane and Ominis had almost died defending Hogwarts and the Ministry was taking the credit? The audacity!

But what could he do about it? Other than yell that he knew the truth? Ugh this was why he hated authority still. They always twisted things into a lie to make themselves look better at the expense of those who actually did the work and risked their necks.

"I need to go to the Love Room, please." Sebastian said in a tight voice, wanting to change the subject.

Archinald rose a brow curiously at his tone but wrote him down in the registry. "Be careful going back there, lad. They've been in an uproar lately for some reason. Not sure why. Even Death, which is rather disconcerting."

Sebastian looked down the hall anxiously and nodded. That didn't seem good. "I'll be careful." He said quietly.

Archinald nodded for him to head back, his gaze lingering on him in concern as he walked past him.

You cannot have him! He is MY ward!

You made a deal with me to help me in exchange for my help with Hogwarts!

I have already helped you in that regard! This is not up for debate!

I am not debating you! I am requesting you fulfill your bargain! Or are you no longer respecting our pact?!

I respect the pact! What I do NOT respect is your overreach into my affairs!

Sebastian could hear the voices shouting around him as he stood in the room between all the doors.

Will you two stop bickering for once in the eons? My head is still aching from that wretched Origin shard! A deep echoing voice shouted across the room and silenced the other two.

Origin shard? What was he talking about? Wait- was that Death?!

He hastily made his way toward the door of the Love Room, wanting nothing to do with Death. What had happened was still too raw for him.

He closed his eyes to open the door and quickly slipped inside, leaning against the heavy wood with a deep sigh of relief that he was away from the other two. Love he at least knew what he was expecting at this point. The other two... Death in particular, were far too unpredictable.

Hello, Sebastian. The soft feminine voice of Love echoed through his mind. I am glad to see you are well after what happened.

"As well as I can be." He sighed, walking up to the fountain and took the cup in a well practiced motion, drinking some of the amortentia. He took a second sip, because goddamn did it taste good. Fuck it.
