Apparating to Hogsmeade was easy enough, but traveling to Killin was always a bit more tricky. They'd figured out a secluded place outside of town to apparate to, but it was still a bit of a walk to get to Danny's house.
"I hope Poppy is there still." Diane sighed. "I really want to get started with things."
Sebastian grinned behind her, glad that she was so eager for the potential marriage in a month. A month... it was hard to believe it would be that soon!
"I'm sure she will be if she found something out last night." Ominis said, eager to get started as well. He was excited that Diane was thinking about pushing the wedding up, but they needed things to be figured out first.
Diane knocked on the door, and looked up as Danny answered. He looked at her and then at Ominis and Sebastian, smiling at the sight of them here as well. "It's good to see you three, Poppy said to expect you."
"Did you guys... have a good night?" Diane asked, needing to be a bit cryptic with the kids just inside the door playing on the floor.
Danny chuckled and grinned over his shoulder to her as he led them into the back. "You'll see." He said secretively.
Diane and Sebastian shared a curious look as they walked into the back of the house, Sebastian holding Ominis' hand to guide him without his wand.
Once they were in the back room they saw Poppy sitting with Cayden and Michael, who looked rather nervous.
"Omnus!" Cayden said happily, jumping down from his seat to run up to him.
"Hello, Cayden." Ominis smiled softly, kneeling down so he would be at a closer level with him. "How are you doing?"
"Good! Pop says I don't have to hide the sparks anymore! I'm glad I don't have to." Cayden grinned.
Ominis blinked a few times, his breath catching. "Sparks?" He said softly, confused.
"Cayden was lighting candles to color at night." Poppy explained with a smile.
Michael sunk into his seat a bit, looking down at his feet uneasily as everyone spoke.
"And Michael?" Sebastian asked, noticing the reaction.
"Michael was the one who taught him how to do it." Danny smirked, ruffling Michael's blond hair playfully and making him scoff in protest as he smoothed it back down.
"Michael..." Diane said in shock, walking over and kneeling in front of him. "You had magic this whole time, and you didn't tell anyone?"
Michael didn't look at her, pointedly looking anywhere but at Diane. "I didn't want to get in trouble." He muttered softly.
Cayden was looking to Diane with wide eyes, his mouth agape. "Diane, you know about the sparks?"
Diane looked over to him and smiled, looking back to Michael "There's a lot more than sparks." She said softly, taking out her wand to show him. "And you're not going to get in trouble, okay?"
Michael stared at the wand, the botanical designs on the rose colored wood different than Poppy's wand she'd showed him. "Pop said that I could learn how to use magic." He whispered.
"You will." Sebastian smiled, crossing his arms in front of his chest with a wry grin. "And probably be rather good at it too, with all the people around to teach you."
Cayden looked back to Ominis in shock. "Do you h-have sparks too?" He stammered a bit in his excitement.
Ominis smiled and took his wand out, showing him the slender dark object carefully. He let the tip start pulsing with his sight, and was finally able to 'see' Cayden for the first time.
