July 6th, 1883

Sebastian woke up with a soft stretch, humming as light shone through the hotel window. It was a strange morning light, cast somewhat dingy through the smog that always hovered over London. He couldn't wait to get home and get away from how oppressive the air felt here.

He looked down and smiled as Diane and Ominis were curled up on either side of him, Diane hugging his arm in his sleep as she rested her head against her shoulder. Ominis was curled against his side, some of his blond hair fallen over his face in his sleep. He felt his heart flutter at the sight of them against him like this, and for a long while he just basked in the moment until finally Diane stirred, letting out a soft moan as she woke up.

"Mmm good morning." She smiled up to him drowsily, the noise waking Ominis as well, who smiled lazily with his eyes closed.

"Good morning, flower." Sebastian said softly, reaching up gently to brush some of her curls from her face, then doing the same for Ominis who blushed softly under the touch.

"What are we up to today? Seeing the girls?" She asked softly, looking up at him from against his shoulder.

"And getting your dress, I think." Ominis said softly.

Sebastian glanced down at him, trying to see if he was still feeling bad about this wedding at all, but he seemed relatively content. At least as far as he could tell. It was hard to tell with Ominis, though...

"Are you still okay with it?" Sebastian asked gently, running his hand through his blond hair soothingly.

Ominis smiled under the touch, his eyes finally opening partially and turning warm under Sebastian's soothing hand. "I'm fine with it. Besides... this is for the muggles, right? For the kids, and for Mary, Alice and Penelope." He said softly. He closed his eyes again and blushed softly. "The one for us is in December."

"That it is." Sebastian said huskily.

"I'll probably just get a white sundress for this one, it doesn't need to be very fancy." Diane smiled, kissing against Sebastian's shoulder gently. "Anne and Poppy can go with me to get a dress later on."

"Yeah you can have fun with that." Sebastian laughed in amusement. "Dress shopping sounds boring."

"I'd be useless anyway." Ominis chuckled as well.

"Not necessarily, you can help me find a sundress today, Ominis." Diane smirked.

He rose a brow in confusion. "What possible use would I be with that?"

"You could always feel it." Diane said with an impish smile.

Sebastian chuckled huskily as Ominis blushed and grinned at the idea.

"Good point... I think dress shopping may be fun, then." Ominis with with a wry smile.

"You certainly changed your mind fast." Sebastian said in amusement.

"An excuse to tease our Diane? Of course I'll take advantage of that." Ominis' smile turned more wicked.

"It'll be fun to see the girls today, too." Diane smiled.

"Anne mentioned yesterday wanting to talk with Linus about his research." Sebastian sighed. "Do you think we'd be able to do that too?"

"I'm not sure if we'll have time for all of that... I have to get back to my training on monday." Ominis frowned.

Sebastian groaned in dismay, putting a hand over his face in frustration. "I really don't want her to go with just Garreth." He muttered behind his hand. "Not that I don't trust him, but just in case something happens."
