This turned out far longer than I intended it. I blame Ominis.

August 12th, 1893

(2 days until the wedding)

The room was thick with the scent of potions and giggle juice, the boys of the group all sitting in different lounge chairs around the study of Linus' house.

"So Sallow, you nervous either of you?" Garreth asked with a grin on his face as he swirled a drink in his hand. His cheeks were already slightly flushed from the two he'd already had.

Ominis flushed and gave a happy little giggle at being called 'Sallow' as well, taking another sip from his drink. "About getting married? No. About being in front of everyone? Yes."

"Mmmm same." Sebastian shrugged. "I'm happy to marry these two, but ceremonies are nerve wracking. Especially one so important."

Ominis gave a little smile against the rim of his glass that Sebastian thought it was so important.

"You'll be fine! Just be your normal selves and everything will be great." Connor said, waving a hand as if he wasn't worried.

"I'd be nervous too, weddings are a big deal. So much attention is on you." William let out a long breath at just the thought.

Linus glanced up from the book he was reading in the corner, feeling rather out of place in a setting like this, but he was also rather flattered he was being included and asked to host it at his house. It meant they saw him as part of the group. Even if he'd only recently joined.

"Oh come on Will, why be nervous? Go up, say 'I do' and bang you're married!" Connor chuckled, clapping his hands together with the words.

"Oh like you wouldn't be nervous if it was us up there." William muttered while taking another drink.

Connor suddenly turned a deep shade of pink, glancing over to William with wide eyes at the mention of them getting married and suddenly he couldn't find any words.

Sebastian gave an amused little chuckle that Connor had turned so red. For all the flirting he did whenever Will flirted back it always threw Connor for a loop.

"Where's Danny anyway? He said he was bringing some of that muggle beer, didn't he?" Garreth said, looking toward the door.

"Muggle beer?" Linus glanced up curiously from his book.

"Yeah, has a unique spring cap to it. I'm going to bring one of the bottles home this time." Garreth grinned excitedly.

"The fire juice is already getting to Ominis." Sebastian gave a little wry smirk toward him. "A few beers and he'll be a goner."

"Isn't that the point? Danny said the grooms should get drunk- so I'm gonna get drunk." Ominis grinned wickedly, holding up the glass he was already half done with.

"How is Anne doing, anyway? You said the other day she was having a hard time? Will she be alright? I know she was worried about the wedding." Sebastian asked Garreth in a more serious tone.

"Oh she'll be fine. Diane is giving her a chair for the actual ceremony so she won't have to stand. Thank goodness, too. She's getting so big." Garreth let out a breath. "It's getting close, I think. Kind of hard to tell, though. These things happen when they'll happen."

"Hopefully after the wedding. I think Seb and Diane would be a nervous wreck if Anne went into labor." Connor chuckled.

"I doubt it'll come in the next few days. A few weeks maybe, though. We're due in September after all." Garreth shrugged.
