Sebastian woke the next morning, opening his eyes and looking at the sunlight streaming through the window of the bedroom. It was so good to be back home again after so long, and especially with Ominis and Diane curled up on either side of him. They'd had been fairly doting since they'd come home, making sure to give him soft kisses and gentle words to reassure him. It made him realize that they had both noticed how paranoid he was, how terrified he was of what had happened. They were trying to comfort him as best they could.

He smiled warmly as he brought a hand to their shoulders on either side of him, closing his eyes to take in the moment of them sleeping against him in the warm morning sun. He wanted this forever. He wanted them to be a family, for them both to let go of their pasts and move forward to a future that they wouldn't have to endure their family's reputations.

They would be his, and he would be theirs. Always.

Ominis stirred next, stretching gently against him with a soft yawn as he buried his face into Sebastian's shoulder with a soft tired sound. It made Sebastian smile warmly, because Ominis had never been a morning person. Even during their school days in the dorm it had been up to him to shake him awake to make sure he'd be ready for class.

"Good morning, Romeo." Sebastian said softly, leaning over to kiss the top of his head sweetly.

Ominis smiled at the touch and stretched again. "Mmmm, good morning Sebastian." He said huskily, resting a hand against his chest gently. "I'm so glad to be home. It's so much more comfortable." He sighed happily.

"It is." Sebastian agreed warmly, glancing over to the closet where he'd hidden the boxes. He was going to have to be subtle about taking them out.

"What has your heart pounding all of a sudden?" Ominis chuckled against him.

Ah, damn. He'd caught that.

"Oh nothing, just thinking of how good you feel against me." He played it off with a husky flirt.

Ominis blushed and gave a soft smile, shifting his head so he kissed Sebastian's chest. "Such a flirt."

"All the time." Sebastian agreed with a grin.

"So what did we want to do today?" Ominis asked softly, his hand running along Sebastian's chest gently as he spoke.

"I was thinking we could just relax, spend the day together. I can make us some stew, or whatever you'd like, and we can read. Maybe take a walk." Sebastian had thought through the lazy soft day he'd wanted before the big moment. "Then maybe go see the sunset?"

Ominis perked his head up a bit at that last part, but smiled warmly. "And you call me the romantic." He said with a smirk.

"I have my moments." Sebastian grinned, trying his best not to hand his heart pound again. He hadn't guessed, had he? Surely he hadn't.

"Is Diane awake yet?" Ominis asked softly.

"No, I think she's still tired from everything that happened." Sebastian said softly. He ran his hand through her curls gently as she slept.

"Poor Diane, she went through a lot." Ominis said, having heard what she did for him. He was admittedly a bit miffed that she had potentially sacrificed herself for his own wellbeing, but it showed just how much she loved him. She probably hadn't even thought about herself in that moment. He reached over and ran his fingers against her cheek gently, smiling when she murmured softly in her sleep.

"She's adorable." Sebastian chuckled.

"And she'll only get cuter." Ominis said breathlessly.

"Huh?" Sebastian looked over to him in confusion.
