(2 days until the wedding)
Hogsmeade was all abuzz with the news of the celebration coming up, after all a wedding between three people wasn't common even in the Wizarding world. The massive party was something for the small town to gossip about, which honestly Diane didn't mind too much. She was constantly getting well wishes from old ladies as she went about her day shopping, doing last minute preparations so she could relax tomorrow before the big day.
It was exciting- and nerve wracking- to know that she would be married in two days. No longer a Walsh, she would be a Sallow. She could hardly contain her excitement, the next step in her life was a big one, united forever with the two men she loved. Planning a wedding was hard work, though... but thankfully her brother had helped a lot, as well as Connor and Poppy. Connor had quite enjoyed it, in fact.
"You're really not going to drink anything?" Natsai looked at her with a bewildered expression.
"Ah, not tonight." She smiled a bit awkwardly. She was a bit paranoid about it. What if she was pregnant? What if it messed things up? It was probably a silly worry, but they did tell pregnant women not to drink... but it made her realize how little she knew about being pregnant. She glanced over to Anne, who was resting a glass of water on her belly with a sigh.
"How are you feeling?" She asked, because Anne was looking tired.
"I'm alright, it's just getting harder to sleep." Anne sighed. "This little one keeps me up all night. If they're not kicking me in the ribs, then it's in the kidney. They're sure lively."
"With their parentage I can't say I'm surprised." Natsai giggled.
Anne chuckled as well and gave a weary sigh as she set her hand in her stomach before downing the rest of her drink.
"I'll get you some more." Natsai offered, grabbing the glass from her before heading into the kitchen.
It left her and Anne alone for now, and immediately Anne gave her a rather wry little smile. A smile that reminded her of ones Sebastian made when he had solved a puzzle.
"You're trying, aren't you?" Anne said, and her grin only widened as Diane couldn't help but blush at the question.
"Couldn't even wait until after the wedding?" Anne teased with a giggle, and that only made Diane turn a deeper shade of red.
"Oh stop, I'm not one to judge." Anne grinned, patting her belly again. "I'm happy for you. Do you know whose it will be?"
"O-Ominis'." Diane said softly, turning a little shy smile to Anne. It was one thing to share it between the three of them, but others knowing... it seemed to make it more and more real.
"Oh I bet he's excited. I hope it works out soon. Sometimes all it takes is one time." Anne giggled in amusement, since she would know.
A knock at the door made them both look up, and Diane got up to answer, since Poppy was out fetching the girls. They'd already warned Natsai about them being muggles, much to her grumbling. She understood, though. They had helped them, and so they were involved in everything as well, in their own way. Especially with Danny's siblings showing signs of magic.
There stood Poppy, who grinned with excitement. "Look who I brought!" She said, motioning to the three women behind her.
Penelope, Alice and Mary were looking at different things in the streets of Hogsmeade, looking as if they were desperately trying not to look like they were staring but hardly able to help themselves. Penelope was watching fluffs of cotton candy dance in the window at Honeyduke's, Mary was watching someone floating on a broom hovering just above the ground. Alice was more interested in the flower box, where one of the flowers turned to face her and made her squeak in shock.
