"Will you calm down?" Ominis chuckled, feeling along Sebastian's jacket to straighten out any wrinkles. "You sound like you just ran two miles."

"How are you suddenly so calm? You've been nervous all week! Is this how you've been feeling?" Sebastian was breathing a bit hard, trying not to run his hand through his hair in a nervous habit. They were standing in the small area behind the ceremony platform, hidden by the decorations.

"You two are adorable, neither of you have anything to worry about." Connor chuckled, fastening the small yellowy flowers of the boutonnière to their lapels.

"I know I shouldn't be nervous." Sebastian grumbled. "I don't know why I am!"

"Because it's a big moment." Ominis said in a softer tone, reaching up to hold Sebastian's face reassuringly. "And yes that's how I've been feeling all week."

"Where's Diane?" Sebastian looked around, wanting the comfort of seeing her too.

"Pbbt, you can't see the bride before the wedding, silly. It's bad luck. You'll see her when she's coming down the aisle." Connor reassured, moving to Ominis to pin his flowers on.

"I wasn't expecting so many people, either." Sebastian glanced over to the chairs that were being filled, the arch with vines and flowers at the front of the aisle between the rows where they'd say their vows. There were enchanted butterflies fluttering around, orange butterflies he'd never seen before.

"Who did the enchantment?" He asked curiously.

"That would be yours truly." Connor grinned. "I'm rather good at that one if I do say so myself. Plus it matches-" he paused and didn't say the rest.

"Matches what?" Ominis asked insistently.

"Ah-ah!" Connor denied him with a playful tap to the shoulder. "No hints. Though I suppose in your case I could tell you, but Sebastian is here too."

"That's not fair!" Sebastian scoffed.

"He won't be able to see her when the time comes." Connor countered. "I'd say it's more than fair."

"Blind privilege." Ominis grinned wryly.

"Oh please, as if I wasn't going to show you after the ceremony anyway." Sebastian crossed his arms stubbornly.

"Not the same thing." Connor insisted. "It's the moment that counts. Now come here, Ominis." He leaned over to whisper to Ominis in his ear. Sebastian watched with a flush of frustration as Ominis' eyes went wide and his cheeks turned red.

When Connor was done whispering he was quite pleased that Ominis was suddenly fiddling with the cuffs of his sleeves in anticipation.

"So not fair." Sebastian pouted.

"Oh stop pouting, you're gonna be married in an hour!" Connor wrapped an arm around both of their shoulders to bring them together. "You'll all be Sallows, and it'll be one big happy family. Then you can start making little Sallows."

Both of the men blushed at that, Ominis biting his lip. They'd kind of already started that step.

"And you won't be a Gaunt anymore, and you can give your whole family the bird." Connor grinned wickedly.

"I already want to do that." Ominis huffed. "I wish I could see the look on father's face when he finds out, though." He gave a wry smile at the idea.

"Probably similar to how someone looks when they eat a lemon." Connor said casually with a grin as he brushed something off Ominis' shoulder.
