All conversations in the living room had stopped with th first soft little cries of the baby, Sebastian still in shock that he was an uncle, now. It wasn't until they heard Anne groan with pain again that someone spoke.

"I thought it was done." Danny said in alarm, sitting up with worry.

"It should be." Linus said, looking down the hall toward the room.

"Did something go wrong? Do they need help?" William said anxiously.

No sooner had he said that than Diane poked her head out of the room, looking over at the men. "Seb! We need more towels- apparate back home and grab all of them you can- as quick as you can!"

Seb stood up and only a second or two after she ended he poofed out of the room to their home.

"More towels?" Connor asked in confusion.

"I hope she's not bleeding." Danny said in agony, putting a hand to his hair in worry.

"I'm sure Garreth won't let anything happen to her." Ominis said, though he looked worried as well. He was picking and messing with the cloth of his sleeve in his anxiety.

It was only a few moments before Sebastian returned, carrying literal armfuls of towels and cloth. It looked like he had just grabbed everything in the linen coset and came back.

"Diane! I got them!" He said urgently, running to the door.

When the door opened he got a good view of what was inside. The midwife was between Anne's legs, her bare arms sticky with blood, and Garreth was looking worried as he held Anne while she shouted again. There was a squirming baby on Anne's chest already, crying as she gritted her teeth.

"What's going on?" Sebastian asked urgently as Diane rushed forward to grab the towels, making a clean area on the plush chair in the room, bloody towels discarded to the side already.

"It's okay, I promise." Diane said in a softer tone to him, looking up sympathetically as he stood at the door.

"Close the door!" The midwife yelled at him, earning a glare from Anne.

"Don't yell at my brother!" Anne yelled fiercely to her before crying out again in pain.

Sebastian let out a shaky breath, he and Garreth locking eyes for a moment. That more than anything told him she'd be alright, the fierce determination in Garreth's green eyes.

He reluctantly shut the door again, letting out an agonized sound as Anne cried out again inside, setting his forehead against the door as he waited.

"Get the red potion- the small one-" Garreth said, reaching out to grab it when Natsai got it for him. He shook it before unstoppering it, holding it out for Anne. "You gotta drink this, love." He said urgently.

"I can't drink-" she shook her head before she strained again with a tired whimper, her face starting to get pale.

"You have to, please- please love, try to drink it." He said, not liking how pale she was getting.

The midwife was silent for now, working below to clean her and had a serious expression before she moved up and pressed gently at Anne's belly before quickly moving back down.

Anne nodded wearily and opened her mouth, her hands shaking too much against the baby crying on her chest for her to hold it herself. He gently poured it into her mouth, sighing with relief as she regained a bit of color after a moment.

"Alright, I think I know what's going on." The midwife said. "Anne, there's going to be a pretty big push soon, you're going to need to go all out again."
