(Song for this chapter: The City Must Survive from Frostpunk on repeat)
(Also what are the chances of a thunderstorm rolling through while I'm writing this?! This atmosphere has me spooked)
Ominis sat up at the sound of bells, terror gripping him as memories of the night of the Walsh attack filled his head. He wildly grabbed for Diane against him but sighed in relief when she was still resting against him.
Wait.
"WAKE UP!" Ominis yelled loudly, startling the other two awake, Sebastian shouting as he immediately sat up.
"What-" Diane asked groggily, and her eyes widened as she heard bells.
"The Hogsmeade alarm." Sebastian breathed out in terror, looking over to the other two with wide eyes before he jumped out of bed to get dressed, Ominis and Diane doing the same.
"We need to get Garreth, make sure he's awake, too!" Diane said, cursing softly as her corset would take too long. She'd just have to go without it for tonight.
"I've got it!" Sebastian said, holding his wand in his mouth as he hopped toward the door, pulling his other pants leg on in his rush. "Meet me at the bottom of the hill!"
"Wait!" Diane yelled, holding out Sebastian's grand wiggenweld potion with wide eyes.
He rushed back to her and grabbed it carefully, leaning over to kiss her cheek quickly. "I'll be quick."
She handed Ominis his and stuck hers in the pouch beneath her skirts, putting her hand over it and closing her eyes anxiously. She was so nervous, she had such a terrible feeling about this.
Ominis heard how nervous she sounded from her quick breaths and put his hands on her cheeks, tilting her head up to look at him. "It will be alright, love." He said gently, kissing her softly before taking her hand and guiding her out of the house to meet Sebastian at the bottom of the hill.

Sebastian ran down the hill toward the potion shop, relieved when he saw the lights were already on and Garreth running around inside.
He didn't bother to knock, unlocking the door with a quick spell before bursting inside.
"I know! I'm going! Anne, the dittany!" Garreth yelled in panic, putting vials of potions in a leather shoulder bag, packing them in sections separated by thick cloth.
"I've got it!" Anne yelled, bringing over nearly a dozen vials of dark green potions as she rushed from the back, still in her nightgown with her robe fluttering around her. Garreth had dressed quickly, just a shirt and pants in his panic and his hair a wild mess. He just swept it to the side for now so it would be out of his eyes, looking to Sebastian in panic.
"Do we know what's going on?" He asked, continuing to pack the bag urgently.
"No idea yet, Ominis just woke us up. I can't imagine it's good, though." Sebastian shook his head.
"Here's the rest of the dittany!" Anne said, rushing back into the room with two more she had just poured out. "That's all that was in the cauldron, though."
"I'll make more after. It'll have to do." Garreth said anxiously, packing those two in as well. "Alright, let's get-" he was tugged down by his collar as Anne kissed him fiercely, looking into his eyes as she broke the kiss.
"You be careful, Garreth Weasley." She said, her voice breaking with emotion.
"I'll be back. It'll be alright." He said softly, kissing her back softly before turning toward Sebastian. "Let's go."
