3rd person's pov
After explaining all the events that took place recently in Dawnspire to Soobin, Yeonjun and Taehyun packed for their trip and started plotting out the route they needed to take. Saying their last goodbyes, the two started on their trip. "Okay, so what was this town called again?" Yeonjun asked, kicking a rock in his path. "Orilon. Elizabeth lives just a few miles outside of the town." Taehyun answered, the two made it outside of the town and into Wayver Woods headed in the opposite direction of Elizabeth's group who had to travel West. They were traveling East having to trek through a quicker path to get there but it was more dangerous as there were many supernatural creatures lying in wait to attack anyone who passed through there. "You think Namjoon hyung and the others will be able to save Elizabeth's brother?" Yeonjun asked, "Save her brother? What do you mean?" Taehyun looked at Yeonjun completely confused, "Wait, they didn't tell you why she was traveling in the first place?" He asked, Yeonjun raised an eyebrow at Taehyun and wondered why Namjoon didn't mention what was really going on. "No, I just thought that she was traveling with some friends." Taehyun shook his head, "Is there a specific reason that Elizabeth is traveling so far away from home?" Yeonjun sighed, not wanting to explain the story as it wasn't his to tell but Taehyun needed to know. He needed to know why the town had been attacked in the first place, though, he didn't blame Elizabeth for the attack. She didn't ask for any of this to happen, for a powerful warlock and his family to harass hers for years, take away her parents, nearly destroy her town and now kidnap her older brother. He supposed that he would be doing the exact same thing she is doing if somebody had taken Beomgyu, though he didn't always feel that way towards his best friend.
"There is." He sighed.
"The reason why Elizabeth came to seek out Namjoon was because a strong and powerful warlock kidnapped her brother. That warlock has been harassing her family for years and just recently he resurfaced and attacked her. She was the one who was supposed to be kidnapped and her brother saved her and was taken instead." He said, Taehyun stopped walking and turned around to face Yeonjun. "After he was taken, Elizabeth set out on her own to get him. Her best friend was too injured to go with her. Elizabeth met Jimin first, he saved her from a wolf when she was in the woods. The two decided to help each other, then the Warlock sent a golem after them. That's where Hoseok came into the picture, he had just been sent down here to protect her and he saved both Jimin and Elizabeth from the golem that nearly killed them. Hoseok took them to Yoongi, who then told them about Namjoon who could help take down the warlock. They met Taehyung when Suho went after Elizabeth after she got separated from them in the woods, he saved her from Suho. A day after that, Elizabeth got hexed and fell sick and then they met Jungkook, Jimin's younger brother. He helped her as best he could and then they took her to Namjoon."
"That's why Namjoon was showing them around the town when they came." Taehyun said, "So this warlock...? Was he the one who sent that weird golem type thing to our town?" He asked, brushing his hair back. "Yes, he sent it to kill Elizabeth because everything else he's done has failed." Yeonjun crossed his arms, "Wow.." Taehyun chuckled, feeling a bit angry. He was angry at Namjoon for not telling him why the town had been attacked but he was even more angry about the fact that a Warlock was targeting Elizabeth after kidnapping her older brother. As a wizard himself, he felt pissed that a powerful warlock was harassing someone who didn't even do anything to him. "I just.. I feel so bad for Elizabeth. Having a warlock go after you after he's already kidnapped your sibling is just crazy." He looked up from the ground, his eyes shifting to Yeonjun. "That's why they left town with Namjoon?" He asked, Yeonjun nodded as Taehyun sighed. "Come on, Taehyun. Let's not dwell on it." Yeonjun walked forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah," Taehyun nodded and the two of them continued on their journey, hoping to reach the town soon.
Meanwhile...
Baekhyun dodged an incoming blast from the golem, who was nicknamed 'Torch' by Sehun after the golem set a house on fire. "Damn, I can't even get near him. He's too fast." Baekhyun panted, landing beside Sehun. "It's because of his vampire blood. Taemin must have thrown Elf, Vampire and Fallen Angel blood together to create him. He knows that the three of them are powerful beings." Sehun said, trying to come up with a way to get closer to the golem. By now, most of the town's central area had been evacuated by the two. Baekhyun threw up a large barrier to protect the remaining people in town who had taken refuge in their stores and homes, while Sehun managed to direct everyone to the outskirts of town having them take refuge at their house. "Just our luck, our two best fighters are out of commission cause one was kidnapped and the other went to get him back. Now, we gotta face thi-"
"Hyung, look out!" Sehun tackled Baekhyun, the two hitting the ground with a thud as a large ball of fire passed over their heads nearly burning Sehun's hair. "Thanks," Baekhyun groaned, "No problem." The two looked up to see another fire ball head straight for them, they quickly rolled out of the way as the fire hit the ground. Baekhyun immediately pushed himself back onto his feet, summoning his bow and arrows and started firing arrows left and right. Each arrow displayed a different element as they hit the ground, the golem dodging each one. Sehun suddenly appeared behind the golem and swung his sword down but the golem turned around at the last minute and blocked Sehun's weapon with his own. The two swords clashed, creating a shockwave of wind to pass through the area. Baekhyun stumbled slightly but kept his feet grounded, notching another arrow as Sehun kept himself from being blown back. His feet landed on the ground beneath him, the two continuously clashing swords and sending more shockwaves through the area. "Get out of my way." The golem spoke, his voice sounding slightly deeper than Sehun's. Sehun gasped in surprise, caught off guard that the golem had spoke. Because of this the golem took his chance and swung his blade down, sending a large ball of electricity at Sehun. "Sehun, snap out of it!!" Baekhyun shouted, Sehun snapped out of his surprise and jumped to the side, dodging the large ball of electricity.
"So you wanna play with electricity, huh? Why don't you try stopping this?!" Baekhyun fired off three arrows, red, yellow and blue electricity coming off the arrows. The golem quickly turned his attention to Baekhyun, dodging the first arrow but was hit with the second and third. Each arrow exploded as it made contact with the golem's body, sending him slightly stumbling backwards. "Die!!" The golem shouted, catching Baekhyun off guard. Sehun moved towards his brother, blocking the golem's counterstrike. The attack was sent away from Sehun and his brother, crashing into a nearby empty house and exploded on impact. The golem swung his sword up, charging a different attack and swung his sword down. "Sehun, get down!!" Baekhyun fired off several arrows, Sehun ducking out of the wall as they flew over his head. The attack consumed each arrow with ease, Baekhyun eyes widened as the dark magic hurtled towards them. "Sehun, there's no stopping that attack, it's dark magic. The moment it touches us it'll kill the both of us." Baekhyun exclaimed, "Then what do we do?" Sehun looked back at Baekhyun, noticibly panicked like his brother. Before the attack could get any closer, a bright white energy attack collided with the dark magic. Both Baekhyun and Sehun stared in awe as two people they never met before appeared, standing directly in front of them. "You must be the person I am supposed to deliver these letters to." The young man said, slightly turning his head back to look at Sehun and Baekhyun.
"Who the hell are you?" Sehun scrunched his eyebrows in confusion.
"A friend of a good friend of yours."
