A Moment of Reprieve

3rd person's pov

Lucky for the group, Jimin found an inn that had rooms but there was a limited amount of space meaning they would have to share rooms. Hoseok decided to room with Yoongi, while Jungkook and Jin took another room. Namjoon and Taehyung chose to share a room, leaving Jimin as Elizabeth's roommate. After choosing roommates, everyone split off and agreed to meet back up for dinner a little bit later. Nobody wanted to wake Elizabeth up, they all had been through a lot in last several days and it seemed Elizabeth was finally at peace for the moment. When Jimin chose their room, Hoseok carefully set her down on the bed near the window and took off her shoes so she could get comfortable. He pulled the covers over her and left Jimin in charge of looking after her. Jimin sighed heavily, placing his bag down and started digging around for a fresh set of clothes. He looked back to check on Elizabeth, who had now shifted in bed and stretched out. He smiled to himself, watching her sleep peacefully and went into the bathroom. After his relaxing shower, he decided to take a nap. Truth be told, he was just as exhausted as Elizabeth was. In Jungkook and Jin's room, Jin felt happy to finally take a long bath. He felt refreshed but he missed his tail, he missed the open water but most of all, he missed his little sister. He felt that he let her down, he hoped that she was still alive. As he stared after the water, he couldn't help but think how the final confrontation with the Warlock that had been after Elizabeth was going to go. They still had a ways to go before reaching his lair, but he had a sense of relief wash over him as the warlock hadn't attacked this town. Jungkook was too excited to stay put in the room so he decided to go sight seeing, of course, he didn't go alone. Hoseok and Namjoon decided to go with him and they managed to bring Taehyung with them, the fallen angel wasn't too happy about that. "This place is amazing." Jungkook smiled, his eyes were filled with so much joy that it was impossible for the rest of the group not to smile. Well, Taehyung wasn't. He hated this happy go lucky atmosphere, Namjoon and Hoseok both were the opposite of Taehyung.

"Why did I dragged along to sight see when I didn't want to be around this in the first place? Why not leave me in the room? You left Yoongi there." Taehyung complained.

"That's because Yoongi hyung is an absolute menace when he's angry. We don't need an angry dragon." Namjoon stated, tilting his head slightly. "Yah, he's more like a scary beast because of his anger. Dragging around an angry dragon would be like trying to slay a much larger and scarier beast." Hoseok sucked his teeth, nodding his head as Namjoon and Jungkook started laughing. "Yah, I'm serious. Yoongi hyung is scary when he's beyond angry. I thank the gods that he hasn't lost it yet." Hoseok slapped Jungkook's arm playfully, as the two continued laughing at his comment.

"I doubt he's that bad." Taehyung waved his hand dismissively, "I'm not lying when I say he's a menace." Hoseok crossed his arms, "Yeah, I believe you. I just find it funny that you're so afraid of him when you're a guardian angel." Jungkook laughed, "Being a Guardian Angel doesn't mean that I would be afraid of other creatures. Besides, Yoongi is a scary ass person when he's pissed off. That's why I don't pick a lot of fights with him." Hoseok explained, as they walked through the town square. Namjoon was suddenly approached by several young ladies, who were trying to slel him potions, spellbooks and other things but he waved his hand and told them he wasn't interested. "Man, they were really trying to persuade you buy all that." Taehyung shook his head, "Yeah... That seems to always happen when I'm out in different towns. I think they can tell I'm a wizard." Namjoon scratched the back of his head, chuckling nervously as he managed to avoid another group of women coming towards him.

Back at the Inn, Jimin had woken up from his nap much later than he expected. When he sat up in bed, he was surprised to find that Elizabeth wasn't in her bed. He heard the shower turn off and figured that she had woken up a little while ago, he rubbed his eyes and let out a quiet yawn. He then looked over at the small clock hanging on the wall, realizing that it was almost dinner time. He was about to get out of bed when he heard a knock at the door, he rubbed his eyes and slid out of bed. He answered the door to find Yoongi and Jin at the door, both ready to head out. He waved for them to come in, he walked over to his bag and grabbed a fresh pair of clothes to change into as Yoongi and Jin came into the room. When they looked around, they noticed Elizabeth wasn't in bed.

"Where's-"

"She's in the shower.. When I woke up, she was in the bathroom." With a snap of his fingers, Jimin's clothes had changed which shocked Jin and Yoongi. Before Yoongi could say anything, Elizabeth came out of the bathroom dressed in comfortable clothing. "Hey guys... What are you two doing here?" She greeted Yoongi and Jin, "Well, we all agreed to go have dinner together. Not sure where but it's about time for us to meet up." Yoongi explained, "Where exactly are we?" She asked, she jumped when there was a loud bang sound that came from outside. Jimin went over to the window, pulling back the curtain slightly and a big smile appeared on his lips. "What is it, Jimin?" Jin asked, "They started a fireworks show." Jimin looked back at the three of them, Elizabeth walked over to the window and gasped as she saw the beautiful fireworks exploding into the night sky.

"Wahhh.." Hoseok smiled.

"It's so pretty."

"It's just like the fireworks show back at home." Namjoon smiled, Taunting watched the fireworks with surprise while Jungkook stared in complete awe. The four of them stood outside the inn, just watching the fireworks show. Jimin looked away from the fireworks and spotted Hoseok and the others, so they headed downstairs and met up with the others. But they took a moment just to watch the amazing fireworks show, Elizabeth and Jungkook were both amazed. Jimin looked at both of them, feeling happy to see that bright sparkle in his brother's eyes. He was even more happy to see how genuinely happy both of them were, after all, they had been through so much the last few days.
