Break the Spell, Defeat the Golem!

3rd person's POV

Everyone became quiet, looking to Jin who was staring at Elizabeth. His chest tightened up at the feeling of having to use his siren call on her, but it was the only way they could snap her out of it. Hoseok glared harshly at the golem who still had Elizabeth under his spell before he shifted his gaze to Jin, who he could see was hesitating. He knew that this was something that the siren didn't want to do, but they needed a way to reach Elizabeth and get through the barrier. At the edge of the town, Suho appeared noticing the destruction around him. A heavy sense of dread filled his body as he heard the people of his town crying out in pain, he was shocked to see all the destruction that had taken place. He was even more shocked that he had been allowed to enter into the town, normally, Namjoon protected the town from any threat and that includes him. Taehyung had been the only Fallen Angel ever allowed within the barrier surrounding Dawnspire, but with the golem knocking it down entirely, he was free to roam through town. Suho thought for a moment as he started walking, all these injured people that were laid out on the streets and porches of nearby homes were basically food for him. He could take their souls and be happy and content with it, especially since he hadn't had a human soul in a year or so. But he stopped himself, he knew these people because he grew up in town as a baby. Once he got older and grew wings, people were quick to send him packing. He continued walking, heading towards the town square where he could see blasts of magic exploding in the air. "Whatever they are fighting must be giving Taehyung and Namjoon hell." Suho thought, walking further into town.

"When this night passes,
I'm afraid I won't be able to see you
The utterly clear gaze,

The face that smiled at me
Will I be unable to see you again anymore?"

Jin started to sing, his voice coming out soft and smooth. None of the others had heard such a nice voice before, they stared at him in awe as he continued to sing. His voice sending out sound waves which were making their way through the barrier and to the ears of Elizabeth and the golem, who became displeased with Jin's actions. He growled loudly, moving his head to face Jin who continued to challenge him by singing. What Jin was actually doing was not only challenging another supernatural creature with Siren abilities, but he was helping to reverse the effects of his hold on Elizabeth. As Jin's voice became louder and changed in tone during his song, Elizabeth could finally hear him. Her ears started to register Jin's voice, her mind fighting back to snap out of the spell the golem had her in.

His words seemed to kickstart Elizabeth's mind, which had been steadily bringing back the reason she was out here in the first place. "Lily, I love you. You really are annoying but you are the best little sister I could ask for." These words echoed in Elizabeth's mind, her heart crumbling at the fact that he had been taken by the warlock. "Well done, Lily!! I can't believe you got third place!! I'm so proud of you!!" A memory flashed in her mind of the day she came in third place in the tournament, the one that both Damian and Baekhyun had watched her. Damian had smiled so brightly at his little sister, laughing as Baekhyun picked her up and placed her on his back. A tear rolled down her cheek as she thought of her brother, the one that she was fighting against evil so she could get him back. "Fight back, Elizabeth. Fight. You can't die now! Not when Damian is still in danger, not when that Warlock still has him in his grasp. Fight back. Snap out of it and defeat this golem once and for all. Everyone here.. Even my new found group members and my friends who have traveled with me, they are counting on me. So snap out of it, Liz! And fight back." Elizabeth's mind started to fight back against the feeling of unconsciousness, her body was fighting to get control. Her fingers twitched slightly which both Jimin and Namjoon noticed, "She's fighting.." Jimin muttered, looking at Namjoon who nodded at him. For some reason, Namjoon felt somewhat attached to Elizabeth although he hasn't known her for very long. "She's fighting back!" Jimin stated, catching the attention of the others.
