3rd person's pov

With the groups now chosen, the group needed to think about which paths they were going to take. Jimin, Hoseok and Elizabeth chose to take the middle path. This left two paths for the other groups to choose, Taehyung, Jin and Jungkook decided that they would take the third and final path which meant that Namjoon and Yoongi would be going down the first path. "Everyone be careful. If something goes wrong send a signal to let us know that you're in trouble and we'll come find you." Yoongi said, "We will." With that the three groups dispersed and headed down their chosen paths. Namjoon and Yoongi watched the other two groups go down the entrance of their paths and waited until they were out of sight to enter theirs, "You think everyone else will run into trouble?" Namjoon asked, he conjured up a source of light that they could use to see in front of them. "It's possible. Who knows what the hell lives in these caves." Yoongi said, "But hyung, don't you live in a cave?" Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows at Yoongi, who shot him a look. "I may live in a cave but you forget, I have a house. And that's what I live in. Besides, nothing else lives in that cave because the other supernatural creatures know that a dragon sleeps there." Yoongi protested, "You're right about that.." Namjoon nodded, he felt a cold breeze blow past him and his skin crawled. He got the feeling that as they went deeper down the path something was watching them, Namjoon was good at being observant of his surroundings. It was something his father taught him at a young age, he learned a lot from his parents. Namjoon learned most of his magic from his mother and survival methods from his older brother and father. As the two continued walking, they noticed that further up ahead there was a large open area and it looked as if there was a huge lake in the middle of the opening. The area was well lit by different colored crystals which glowed brightly with a sea green color, others were sky blue and some were even red.

"A lake? In the middle of the cave?" Yoongi stopped walking as they neared the clearing, "That's new. And look at all the crystals around here." Namjoon added, his gaze shifting from the lake to the crystals. "Are there any around here that could be used in any spell or potion?" Yoongi asked, looking away from the lake. "Yeah," Namjoon walked over to the side of the lake where the sea green and sky blue crystals were clustered together in small formations. He bent down next to the formation, staring in complete awe and fascination as he stared at the crystals.

"Namjoon?" Yoongi called.

"Yeah, these crystals over here can be used." He started, "The Sea green colored crystals are called Colessite. These can be used to store aura and mana, they also can make spells more powerful if the crystal is used as a way of channeling aura and Mana." Namjoon explained, "What about these?" Yoongi asked, Namjoon looked over his shoulder and noticed that Yoongi was pointing to the red colored crystals. "No, don't touch those." He warned, "Why can't I touch them?" Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, though, he got this sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. Noticing the tense body language and pale demeanor from Yoongi, Namjoon knew exactly what those crystals were.

"Kinonstone. Those crystals are used in both potions and spells that kill dragons." Yoongi backed away from the crystals, "What kind of dragons does it kill, Namjoon?" He asked hesitantly, he didn't want his answer to be what he thought it was. Namjoon's facial expression softened, the wizard feeling empathetic of his best friend.

"What kind of dragon, Namjoon?" Yoongi pressed.

"Coldscaled Stormfury's and Armored Windfury's." Namjoon answered truthfully. Yoongi's facial expression darkened as he looked away from Namjoon, "Of course.. The two strongest and rarest types of dragons can be killed by one fucking stupid red crystals." Yoongi snapped, he could feel his anger growing. "Hyung-" Yoongi shook his head and cut Namjoon off before he could start his sentence, "No, I don't want any pity. And I don't want you to apologize. Just because you're both human and wizard doesn't mean that you particularly are lumped in with all the human witches and warlocks who use the crystals." Yoongi stated, Namjoon could only nod at Yoongi's statement. "What about the sky blue crystals over here?" Yoongi walked over to Namjoon, the sick feeling going away as he stood beside the blue haired wizard. "These are Aquaradoite. These crystals are used for healing spells and potions. It's actually quite relaxing to use one of these when trying to clear a crowded mind." Namjoon picked several Colessite and several Aquaradoite crystals to bring along, they were helpful to him since they were always facing new threats.

As Yoongi examined one of the crystals he heard something move in the lake behind them, he blocked out any noise that Namjoon was making at the moment as he opened his bag and sorted things. His eyes slowly shifted from the crystal he was holding to the lake, noticing that the water was moving. Almost as if something was headed straight for Namjoon, he stood to his feet slowly not saying a word to Namjoon and stood behind him. Blocking anything that came out of the water from getting to Namjoon, he could almost guarantee that it might be a female siren or mermaid.

"Namjoon." Yoongi called.

"Huh?" Namjoon looked over his shoulder, wondering why Yoongi was now tense. "Hyung, what's the matter? You're tense." Namjoon placed his stuff back in his bag and stood up, slinging the bag over his right shoulder. "We need to go." Was all Yoongi said, "Alright. I'm all done here." The two made their way to the opposite side of the lake where there was a path straight ahead and just as they got to the other side, a figure slowly rose out of the water.

"It's about time we got some handsome men around here," the figure spoke, Namjoon and Yoongi both knew that they needed to get out of there and fast. Leaning against the rocks was very beautiful mermaid, she had long blonde hair and purple eyes. Ones that were extremely captivating to anyone who saw them, her skin was tanned and she was in great shape, her breasts were covered by a bra made of the finest silk. Her tail stretched about seven feet long and three inches wide, the scales were a purple iridescent color and shined underneath the water.

"Just ignore her. Keep walking." Yoongi said to Namjoon, "Oh come on, boys. Don't you want to take a rest and come play in the water?" The two continued ignoring her which seemed to frustrate the mermaid, she wanted to play with them. Yoongi continued to block out the mermaid, making sure that Namjoon didn't look back as they walked away.
