A New Foe

Elizabeth's pov

Waking up in a new town which had nothing but fun and peaceful vibes felt nice, it was a different atmosphere in general. The dinner last night was really hilarious, Jin and Jungkook were trying to outdrink each other but neither of them could easily get drunk so Namjoon casted a spell to help that happen. Once those two got drunk, all bets were off as they decided to start a contest with Taehyung and Jimin. By the end of it, Namjoon, Hoseok and I were the only sober ones in the group. Luckily, Namjoon casted a spell to help get them all back to their rooms at the Inn without much fuss. The next morning, I dragged Yoongi and Jimin out to explore the town with Hoseok and I. It was actually quite funny how hungover they were, I felt bad for Yoongi though since his hearing was a lot more sensitive than usual. "Honestly, you could have just let me sleep for four more hours. Why drag me out of bed to tour this stupid town even more when I already got a glimpse yesterday?" Yoongi complained, looking at Hoseok and I. "Aw, come on Hyung. Don't be so sour. We should take Elizabeth sight seeing, she didn't get to see much since she pretty slept through our arrival here." Hoseok patted Yoongi on the shoulder, "It won't be so bad, Hyung. Cheer up." I chuckled when Yoongi made a face at him, he was so not pleased with the idea of us sight seeing but I didn't care. Jimin seemed a lot more quiet than usual, he didn't crack any jokes about Yoongi's hangover, "And how are you doing, Jimin?" Hoseok heavily patted Jimin's shoulders, making him jump as he didn't see Hoseok walk behind him. "Ah, Hyung. You nearly gave me a heart attack, don't sneak up on people like that." Jimin whined, "Jimin, where's your usual happy go lucky smile?" I poked his cheek, "I'm in no mood to be smiling right now. My head is killing me." He frowned, "Well then, maybe you shouldn't have tried to outdrink Taehyung and Jungkook last night. Then, you wouldn't be feeling so bad." Hoseok patted his shoulders, "I wouldn't be feeling this hungover." Yoongi added.

"See that was your own fault, Hyung. You're the one who tried to outdrink all of the makanes beside Elizabeth." Hoseok pointed out, Yoongi glared at him while I giggled at their antics.

"Hey, at least I'm in better shape than Jin hyung, Jungkook and Taehyung. They all couldn't even get out of bed. And he nearly fell out of bed before he even got up." Jimin crossed his arms, "At least I got up. Hoseok had to practically drag you out of bed." Yoongi retorted, scowling at Jimin. Jimin glared at Yoongi about to say something when we were heard a voice. All of us stopped in our tracks, looking for the voice when Yoongi suddenly became tense and looked over at Hoseok. "Please. Please, children.. Take a deep breath and calm down. There's no need for all this fussing and bickering on such a bright happy day." I yelped loudly as a random man appeared in between Jimin and I, causing me to move away from him. Hoseok immediately grabbed my arm, pulling me into his side as Jimin and Yoongi became guarded.

"Who the hell are you?"

"It matters not who I am. There's no need for all the hostility that you two are throwing at each other. I can tell you are all friends and traveling together." He said. I took a moment to take in his appearance, he had brown hair which went past his ears and a beard which was nicely groomed. He wore a long sleeved white button up, brown vest, khaki pants and boots. Something about him told me that he was a powerful being, I internally cursed at myself for not bringing my scabbard with me. I left it in the room with Jungkook, knowing that he and others weren't going anywhere.

"Friends? How'd you come up with that assumption?" Yoongi quipped, raising an eyebrow at the man.

"I can tell that even though you all have your differences, you care what happens to each other."

"Yeah, right. Why would I care about the stupid fairy? He's the reason I have a hangover." Yoongi argued.

"Actually Yoongi, you did have a choice not to drink. You chose—" Yoongi cut his eyes to me, sending a look which made me stop talking. "You always seem to have it out for me, why?" Jimin asked, turning Yoongi's attention onto him. "It's because you are always sticking your nose in my business. And you'd rather hide away your wings then show them which most fairies do."

"Well, I'm not like most fairies, Dragon breath." Jimin snapped, Yoongi let out a growl of irritation and went to argue but the man standing in between them once again interfered. "I can see there's a lot of work that needs to be done in order for you both to get along. So I'll make that happen." He snapped his fingers, a cloud of smoke engulfing all four of us. I was suddenly pulled away from the group, Hoseok immediately grabbed my arm and disappeared with me. The two of us teleported into a small snowglobe, I could barely hear Jimin and Yoongi's voices but I could see that they were not happy. Both of them were ready to fight, a cold breeze blew past the two of us making me shiver as the snow started falling. "Hobi, how did he do that?!" I panicked, "I don't know. But don't worry, we'll be okay. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." He pulled me into his side, warmth radiating from his body as he glared at the man.

"What the hell man? Why did you take them? Just who the hell are you?" Jimin questioned, "Give them back, or I—"

"Ah... Ah.. Ah..." The man wagged his finger, "In order to stop the spell and save your dear little princess and her guardian angel, you two have to learn to get along. And you'll find out in due time who I am." He said.

"You bastard, give them back!" Yoongi growled. "What spell are you talking about?" Jimin furrowed an eyebrow, concerned for where this was going. "This one." The man snapped his fingers and in a cloud of smoke, he disappeared. "Get back here!!!" Yoongi sang, Jimin looked at Yoongi in shock as the dragon slapped a hand over his mouth. "You just sang?! Why are you singing?" Jimin slapped a hand over his mouth, looking shocked and this is when it hit Yoongi. "This is the stupid spell he mentioned. We gotta tell the others about this... But I'm not gonna keep singing." Yoongi stated, Jimin nodded and the two raced back towards the Inn to let the others know what just happened.
