The Call of the Golem!

Jimin's pov

I could see Elizabeth's energy sapping away, it worried me as she had been fighting the golem the longest out of any of us especially after we had gotten trapped outside of the barrier. This golem was powerful, I hated to admit it but whatever spell, the golem was made with was a very strong one. Most of us were able to keep up with that thing, after all, we aren't human. Well, maybe except for Namjoon. He's also human, he just uses magic and spell books and has a lot more magical power than any regular human, though he still is human. I actually wasn't all that surprised to learn that Namjoon is a human, after all, he definitely didn't have any other qualities that would lead anyone to believe otherwise. But it seemed that he was able to keep up with the rest of us against this golem, it made me wonder just how powerful he really is. As a large shockwave brushed through the air, knocking a few of us off of our feet, I heard cries from someone which made my blood run cold. That meant that someone was left behind, they must have been hiding from Jin and Taehyung thinking they were dangerous. It seemed that I wasn't the only to hear it, because Elizabeth and I made eye contact with one another. I could see in her eyes that she wanted to help, it was in her nature to help others. "Did you guys hear that?" Jungkook looked over his shoulder, "That sounds like someone is still here. I thought you evacuated everyone to Namjoon's mansion?" Yoongi looked to Jin and Taehyung, without another word, Elizabeth took off running to follow the sound of the crying which spread panic through me. "Liz, what are you doing? Get back here!!" Jungkook shouted, "I'm not going to let someone be stranded and possibly die from injures because I was too busy to save them!! So don't try stopping me, it won't work!" She argued, I immediately rushed after her but we didn't get far as the golem suddenly appeared in front of Elizabeth, causing me to skid to a stop just a few feet behind her. I skidded to a halt, nearly losing my footing but immediately caught myself before she was near the golem. My heart was pounding loudly, beating harshly against my chest as the golem stared at Elizabeth. The look in his eyes said it all, he was staring at Elizabeth like she was some kind of prey that he was ready to kill. This unsettled both of us greatly and I couldn't tell what the golem would do next, but Elizabeth's focus wasn't on him right now. Right now, all she wanted was to get to the person who was trapped under the debris. The one who was left behind and ended up caught between our fight with the golem, but with him in the way, there was no way she would be able to get to them.

"Get out of my way, asshole!" Elizabeth swung the scabbard into the air, releasing a large wave of fire at the golem. His eyes widened for a moment as the attack came right at him, I couldn't believe my eyes as the golem took the hit, somehow managing to reflect it away from him. It flew off into the distance, exploding in the air causing a small shockwave to blow back at us.

"Shit." Jungkook cursed.

Before anyone had a chance at anything, the golem smirked and appeared in front of Elizabeth. This startled her and she tried to back away but the golem grabbed her by the waist, suddenly I got a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach telling me to get her away from him. It seemed that even Jin was getting antsy, the look on his face saying it all.

"Elizabeth get away from him now!!"

"Jin, what's gotten you so freaked out?" Yoongi looked back at him, confusion written all over his face. Now that I think about it, I've never seen Jin this worked up about something. But then again, I only just met him about a week ago.

"I know that look!! He's going to-" Jin didn't finish his sentence as the golem suddenly took a deep breath and leaned in closer to Elizabeth, who was already beginning to panic. That's when everything became quiet before the golem opened his mouth and started singing, Jin became even more frantic.

"I don't need a lot of love, you'll see
Cover up my mouth, don't need to breathe."

Elizabeth's scabbard dropped to the floor, causing all seven of us to start panicking. Taehyung and Namjoon were trying their best keeping calm, as they didn't want to make things worse. I could see that Hoseok was trying to think of a way to get to her, but it seemed that even he was running out of ideas. "No!! Liz! Don't listen to him!!" I shouted, rushing forward but just before I could reach her, I felt as if I had run directly into a wall. I stepped back, my eyes widening as I realized that I had run right into another barrier the golem made. "No!! Elizabeth, stop listening!!" Jungkook immediately kicked at the barrier, the others beginning to throw their attacks at it but nothing worked. Fear crept up my body as I could see her falling under his siren spell, which was so strong compared to actual sirens. He leaned in closer to her, pulling her into his chest as he sang, his voice dropping octaves.

"Keep your focus on my hips and jeans

I'm a killing machine, I'm a killing machine-"

A strange aura appeared around the two, Liz's eyes clouding over as she fully gave into his siren call. His eyes turned bright pink, I could see that Elizabeth was already under his call. "No, we have got to get in there." Jin slammed his fist into the barrier, not letting up as he called for her but she didn't listen to him. "Come on, you have to fight it. Please!" I pleaded but it was no use, she was already too deep under his spell. I looked back at Hoseok, who was beginning to get really pissed off and then shifted my eyes to Namjoon. "Namjoon hyung, do something!" Jungkook shouted, I could see that he was already thinking up a plan, he just needed time. "Liz!! Snap out of it!!" Jin continued shouting, all of us staring in shock when the golem suddenly pressed his lips to hers. Elizabeth gave into the kiss, her body beginning to sag which further worried me. Yoongi let out a frustrated grunt, throwing a large blast as the barrier but it didn't work. All it did was reflect off the barrier, nearly hitting Jungkook and I but we ducked out the way and saw it fly off into the distance.

"Jin, as much as I hate to say this.. This is the only I can think of right now to save Elizabeth from dying by the hands of that thing." Taehyung started, I furrowed my eyebrows at Taehyung wondering what he was thinking. That's when I realized what he was getting at, "Oh hell no!" Hoseok snapped first, stepping up before I said anything. "He is not about to do that! Between the two of them, one might be more powerful than the other and could possibly overload her system and kill her!" He snapped, his wings ruffled and anger was clear in his eyes.

"I'm not letting that happen!"

"It might be the only way to snap her out of it! We can't get through the barrier to stop him physically!" Taehyung argued, "And I said No! We will figure out another way to get that barrier down, but I am not letting him use his siren call on her!" He argued, I could feel the growing tension between the two of them which was going to make everything worse. "Why are you so against letting him do his thing when it could be the only way that he can get her back? What kind of Guardian Angel doesn't even know how to save his own charge?" Taehyung seemed to have hit a nerve because the next I knew, Hoseok had grabbed Taehyung by the throat and slammed him against the barrier.

"Oh, so this is how you want to play now?" Tae smirked, causing Hoseok to tighten his grip.

"We have no fucking time for this!! Stop fighting one another, do you see that she is dying before our eyes and we still haven't gotten to her yet?!! Stop it!" Yoongi snapped, he then turned to Jin and sighed.

"Jin, do it. Use your siren call."

"What?! No!!"

"This is not going to be debated any longer, Hoseok. Jin, do it." Jin nodded, turning his head to Hoseok who was seething.

"I'm sorry." He apologized, before taking a deep breath and faced the barrier.
