Elizabeth's pov

"Are you sure that he's gone?" I shifted on the couch that I had been laid on earlier, scooting slightly closer to Jimin who sat next to me. After Taehyung had disappeared to fight Suho, the boys took me here to be safe while Namjoon tried to reconstruct the barrier that went around the town. Jin and Jimin helped with rebuilding more of the homes with the help of Yeonjun and Beomgyu, who I had the pleasure of getting to know. Yoongi sat across from us beside Jin, while Jungkook sat to his left. Jimin sat to my left with Hoseok to my right, both still acting extremely protective of me while we sat in the hideaway room. Yeonjun and Beomgyu sat in the corner of the room, going through a list written of townspeople that were either classified as missing, alive or dead. I turned my attention back to Taehyung, his wings were hidden away and his clothing seemed a little worse for wear. "Yes, I'm sure he's gone, Namjoon. I scared him away for now but as long as Elizabeth is here in town, he'll keep coming back for her." Taehyung said, making my blood run cold. I was putting people in danger and as long as I stayed in this town, more and more bad things will happen. I mean, the warlock happened. He sent a powerful golem here to this town, knowing full well that he could wipe out the entire town with one fell swoop. I stared at the floor, memories flooding my brain of the time the warlock's parents nearly destroyed our town just the Warlock had done here in Dawnspire, with his powerful golem. In both scenarios, the warlock's were after us and both involved the townspeople dying or losing everything they own. I clenched my fist, thinking back to how long it took us all as a town to bounce back from that. I knew that things would get worse if I continued staying here, as long as that stupid warlock was after me, then nobody would be safe.

"What does that mean?" Jin asked.

"That means that as long as Elizabeth is here, he will keep coming back. I know Suho's type. He's resilient and he won't easily give up something that he wants. He'll keep coming back. And that means, Liz won't be safe. Even if she has us, she won't be safe from him. He'll attack at whatever time he can, he can take advantage of when we are busy or sleeping." Jungkook said, leaning forward on the couch. I knew what he was getting at and from the looks on the other's faces, I could tell that they saw what he was getting at to. "You can't just leave town now." Yeonjun said, standing to his feet. All eyes went to him as sauntered over to us, "We are still rebuilding everything that golem destroyed. Not everyone has been confirmed to be dead or alive. We still have work to do, Namjoon. You can't just leave us, what if that guy sends another golem or worse and you're not here to protect the town? What then?" Yeonjun reasoned, I could see why he was upset.

"You don't get it, do you, wolf?" Yoongi snapped, glaring at Yeonjun.

"Namjoon won't just leave you all defenseless, he's gotten the barrier back up and its stronger than it was before. Besides, the warlock is after Elizabeth, not this town." He finished, he looked pissed and it was scary to say the least. "He's right." Namjoon spoke, "The barrier I put up can withstand the magic of this warlock. The only reason it was broken in the first place was because I was unfamiliar with the Warlock's magic and strength. Now, I have an idea of how powerful he is. Even if it's just a fraction of what he can possibly do." Namjoon said, "But, you can't just leave us." Yeonjun said. "We need you here. More than she needs you."

"And how do you know that?" I spoke up, everyone's eyes went to me. "How do you know that I don't need him as much as you need him? Are you the one being chased by a warlock whose parents have targeted your family for years?! Have you ever been stalked by a warlock who will not leave you alone, no matter what you do?! Has that same warlock attacked your town and your family numerous times and you lost your parents as a result?! Or has he taken your older brother from you and flown him away, injuring your best friend and destroying part of your home when he originally was coming to kidnap you and not anyone else?!!!" Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi all looked up at Elizabeth with worried and sad eyes. Jungkook, Jin and Taehyung looked at her with surprise.
