3rd person's pov
Throughout the night the giant golem and the Angel were on lookout duty for the same person, though the Guardian Angel sent down had no clue of the impeding danger she would be in. Though he knew that she had been traveling with a fairy, he followed along the same path the two took and got into Mythbrook late in morning. Prompting him to take a room and sleep, coincidentally at the same Inn that Jimin and Elizabeth were at. It had been hours since the morning, Jimin and Elizabeth had gotten an early start on their journey. They had left Mythbrook behind and were well on their way back on the right path. Just before they left town, Elizabeth had written Baekhyun a letter of her journey so far and had asked the postal service to transport the letter to her hometown, directly to Baekhyun to which they agreed. The two had been taking breaks in between but with night quickly falling, they needed to make camp somewhere. In the warlock's lair, Damian had been left to his devices as the warlock had stepped out to get some things done late at night. He wriggled slightly in the binds, moving his hand to the pouch on his belt loop. Managing to get a hand free, he reached into the pouch and gripped the handle of his dagger. Slowly, he lifted the dagger out of the pouch and tried to angle his wrist in order to cut through the binds. "Come on," He whispered through clenched teeth, he looked over his shoulder and managed to get the dagger in the right place. He began slicing through the ropes, lucky for him, Sehun had been the one to also make the dagger. He made a twin pair of magical daggers, one that could dispel most types of magic including the magic used by Warlocks and Dark Witches. He gifted one pair each to Damian and Elizabeth, making a separate one for Baekhyun and himself as well. He started cutting away at the ropes and he was gaining leeway, soon, the binds completely fell away from him. Grinning in satisfaction, he sat forward and placed the dagger back in his pouch. He tapped the pouch three times, causing it to disappear from sight. Nobody but Damian would be able to see the pouch and dagger which was hidden, Sehun had placed a spell over both to make sure that nobody, not even the most powerful warlock would be able to see the pouch if the owner didn't want it seen. He stood to his feet, wincing slightly from sitting so long but he shook it away. He stretched out his arms, before looking around the room to see a way that he could get out. He started rifling through shelves, cabinets and drawers to figure out what he could use to help him escape. He looked up when saw the moonlight hit him from a distance, smirking to himself when he found a window sitting right across from him. He put the book down on the table, rushing over to the window.
"And what do we have here? Hm?" Damian froze in his spot, his eyes never seeming to waver. Though he had just been caught, he was not going to give up. He turned around to face the warlock, determined to get out of the lair and back to his sister and best friend.
"You're not keeping me here. I'm going to get out of here, even if it takes a while." He stated.
"Oh, really? And what makes you think that it will be easy for you to get past me?" The warlock smirked, feeling cocky that he could take Damian down fairly easy.
"You're not keeping me here, I won't let you." Damian said with conviction. "We'll see about that." The warlock grinned.
Meanwhile...
Elizabeth was sleeping peacefully, curled up under the blanket while Jimin was leaned up against the tree drifting in and out of sleep. His head leaned back against the hard bark of the tree, his legs sprawled out with his bow sitting in between his legs. His quiver sat off to the side, propped up right next to him in case he needed it. He always kept his bow and arrows close when he was out in the woods, it was something that his father had taught him. The two had found a place to set up camp near another lake, this one a bit different from the earlier one they had been too. Jimin's ears twitched slightly as he heard a distant grunt, which woke him up. His brown eyes fluttered open, flitting around to see if he could pinpoint where the grunt had come from. He heard soft breathing and looked down off to the right, where Elizabeth had been lying. Her breaths were soft and quiet, her face looking extremely peaceful as she slept. Jimin couldn't deny that Elizabeth wasn't a very beautiful young lady, in fact, he had never seen such a beautiful young lady as her before. Sure, he's come across beautiful girls both human and fairy but none of them were like Elizabeth. He blushed remembering the awkward moment that the two had, waking up completely cuddled up together. From the moment he met her, he knew that Elizabeth was different from the human women he had encountered over the years. He leaned forward, his hand reaching forward to brush a strand of her hair out of her face when he heard a jostle in the bushes. He immediately moved his hand away, readying an arrow and aimed his bow. He looked around, keeping his ears open to hear anything. A charm suddenly went off, creating a loud beeping sound. Jimin swirled around, looking behind the tree only to see nothing. He stood confused, furrowing his eyebrow as he kept his eyes on the area. He knew that something was out there, he could sense it and it wasn't another supernatural creature that usually roamed the woods. No, it was something else and it unsettled Jimin greatly.
"What the-" A loud roar echoed through the forest, causing Jimin to wince from how loud it was. He immediately became much more alert, as Elizabeth shot upright, woken out of her deep sleep.
"Jimin?"
"Get behind me." Jimin ordered, "What was that?" Elizabeth asked, standing to her feet as she dropped the blanket.
"Elizabeth, get behind me. And whatever you do, don't run." Jimin said again, this time with much more authority in his voice. Elizabeth stared at Jimin, shocked by the tone but did as told. The two stood silent, which was soon broken by sounds of loud, thumping footsteps headed their way. Elizabeth grabbed Damian's scabbard, feeling extremely unsettled as Jimin stood tall. Sure, he felt a bit scared but he was not going to let harm come to the young woman he had just become friends. He squinted his eyes, his orange hair blowing in the wind as a strong gust blew past them. He readied his bow, steeling his nerves as a large shadow appeared before them. Elizabeth's eyes widened as the brightly lit fire revealed a large golem, standing just on the other side of the tree. Her breath caught in the back of her throat, as she took in the appearance of the golem standing before them. Jimin sucked in a breath, taking in the sight.
"Shit."
