Elizabeth's pov
It took us a whole another day to get to Wayver Woods, but after about eight hours of sleep and then another five for walking, we made it. My mind wandered off to Beomgyu, who we encountered last night and wondered if he was doing alright. I shook my head clear of that, focusing on where we were now. I was amazed by the beauty, it didn't resemble anything like Pxsyi Forest. You could tell the difference between both, and although Wayver Woods was filled with majestic, beautiful trees with blue and magenta leaves, beautiful flowers and exciting wildlife, there was something much darker about these woods. We could hear sounds of bird chirping, other smaller animals chittering and running around in the bushes and trees. As we walked through Wayver Woods, I got the strange feeling that we were being watched. I kept my eyes and ears alert to anything that could happen and I noticed that I wasn't the only one. Jimin also was very wary of the woods, just as much as I was. Jimin said that he had only passed through here once but that's a story for later, while I've never had to travel far from home before. If anything Damian or Baekhyun might have traveled through here once or twice to get things that the townspeople might have needed but they traveled with large groups of professional people, never taking the inexperienced on the trip into the woods. There was a silence that had settled over the group, but it was a comfortable silence and I was okay with it. But there was something about this part of the woods that was starting to creep me out, I couldn't pinpoint what it was that made me feel that way. "Are you sure we're headed in the right direction?" Jin asked, breaking the long silence. "Yes, I'm sure." Yoongi said, not bothering to look back at him. "Just because you have map in front of you, doesn't necessarily mean that you are going the right way." Jin quipped, I heard Yoongi click his tongue in annoyance. Yoongi abruptly stopped walking, Hoseok almost running straight into him. Jimin pulled me back from Jin as Yoongi swung around to face him, he folded the map and shoved it in the pocket of my bag which Jimin was carrying on his back. Though Yoongi was an inch shorter than Jin, he still got close to him and basically in his face. And it seemed that he was not very intimidated by the height difference, which in my opinion is what I am intimidated by.
"Listen, I've walked this path more times than you know. Don't fucking tell me that I might be going the wrong way because I doubt you have any clue as to where we are even going. Besides, you weren't even originally in this group so you have no idea as to who we are traveling to see. So don't sit here and think that you can question me and my sense of direction. I know better than you do, you stupid fish." Yoongi snapped, Jin looked very taken back by the sudden change in Yoongi's attitude, both Jimin and I frowned at him and watched as Jin tried to figure out what to say. I then noticed that the look in Jin's eyes changed, which made me worry.
Is Jin going to be hostile towards him? I.. I don't need more tension between the group, not when I might need his help..
"Listen here-" Jin started, sharp fangs poked out of his mouth causing Jimin to push me behind him while Hoseok stood in front of us. From the look on Hoseok's face, I could visibly see how frustrated he was with Yoongi's attitude towards Jin. Even Jimin looked just as annoyed as Hoseok, but instead of standing there, he decided to jump in. He stepped forward, pushing himself in between the two men. Hoseok sighed, pinched his nose and shook his head. "We don't have time for any of this-" I sighed, shaking my head and leaned against the nearby tree. As I pulled a snack out of my bag, I looked up and internally sweat dropped at the sight of Jin and Yoongi lunging for one another. Hoseok and Jimin immediately stepped in, holding each of boys away from one another. Hoseok was pleading for Yoongi to calm down and stop arguing, while Jimin was trying his best to hold back an angry Jin. Since it seemed everyone was wrapped up in the fight, they didn't seem to notice the fog which had been around since we got here was now growing even more. I got a tight feeling in my chest, setting off alarm bells in my brain that something wasn't right. I stood to my feet, moving closer to the boys trying to get their attention. But it was of no use, the fog became thicker causing me to slightly panic as I lost sight of the four of them.
"Jimin!!" I shouted, but I got no answer.
"Hoseok!!!? Hobi?!!!" Again there was no answer, all I could see around me was fog.
"Yoongi?!!"
"Jin?!!"
"Hello?!! This isn't funny guys!! Where'd you go?!!" Instead of hearing any of their voices, I couldn't hear anything. Rustling in the trees and nearby bushes put me on alert, my hand reaching for Damian's scabbard. Something dark zoomed past me, causing me to freeze in my spot. "Whose there?" Not taking any chances, I pulled out the scabbard and held it in a defensive position.
"Aww," I heard a voice chuckle, the sounding shivers down my spine.
"Who are you?" I looked around the area, keeping my guard up.
"This is so adorable..." Something zoomed past behind me, I quickly turned around and looked around. But I couldn't see anything, which was starting to get to me. My nerves shot through the roof but I tightened my grip on his scabbard and took a deep breath, I can't be this scared to be on my own. It may be terrifying seeing as these woods have always been so dangerous to humans, and other supernatural creatures but I am on a personal mission. And that mission is to save the only family I have left, and bring Damian back home safe and sound.
"I don't care who you are, I'm not afraid to clear this entire area with my sword." I threatened, the only response I got was more laughter and it really freaked me out.
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, really. I will not hesitate to cut you down with this sword." I reiterated. It became quiet, my eyes constantly scanning the area and all I could see was fog.
"I never expected a human to come this far in the Woods, especially when you're traveling with supernatural creatures." I nearly jumped out of my skin, spinning around to face the sound of the voice. I froze in my spot, holding the scabbard closely when my eyes landed on what was standing just a few feet away.
There was a handsome young man, he looked no older than Baekhyun. He has thick eyebrows, short spiked, unruly black hair which looked very soft. He has a slender nose bridge, he has very thin but plump lips and dark brown eyes. His face is built both smooth like a baby and sharp, like a statue which made him look extremely handsome. I looked him up and down, he wore a long sleeved black leather jacket, black pants, black shoes and a white T-shirt. Something about his demeanor screamed extremely dangerous, making me even more cautious of him than I already was.
"So what I'm traveling with supernatural beings? It has nothing to do with you, does it? Who are you?" I furrowed my eyebrows, pushing down my fear and put on a brave face. When I looked him up and down again, I spotted something huge sprouting from his back. A set of large, black Angel wings which indicated..
"Ah, so it looks like you've figured out what I am.." He smirked, his arms spreading out and away from his body.
"A Fallen Angel."
