3rd person's pov
"Why the hell did you kidnap me?" Damian snapped, struggling against the rope he was bound in. He had been tied to a chair and stuck in the middle of a small room, most of the light in the room was controlled since it was now late at night. Damian struggled again, trying to get out of the ropes, not too happy about the situation at hand. He cursed himself in his mind for letting the golem make such a mess of everything, for letting his guard down. He should have known that the warlock was bound to come out of hiding at some point, which he had been concerned about. He was worried about Elizabeth and Baekhyun, knowing that the latter of the two was heavily injured during the fight. This made him worry that Elizabeth had gone off on her own to get him back, which was something that the Warlock wanted. This was something he hadn't wanted her to do, he had always told Baekhyun to be the one to make sure Elizabeth didn't go off on a rescue mission like she was now. But he knew how stubborn she could get, which is what worried him further. Luckily for Damian, the warlock had been kind enough to heal his wounds while he was unconscious.
"Aww, don't be so mad, dear Damian." The warlock chuckled, his dark hair lightly swaying with him as he stepped into the light.
The candle that had been burning on the table beside Damian suddenly grew larger, now illuminating the room enough for Damian to see properly. The walls were covered in different shades of scroll paper, which had hexes and magical runes written all over them. There were potted plants hanging from the ceiling, placed sporadically throughout the room, most outgrowing their pots. A table sat off to the side, on top was a bunch of things that were floating in jars and books. A bookshelf sat off to the left hand side of the room, filled to the brim with different kinds of books, all pertaining to witchcraft.
"How can I not be angry?! You attacked my home!! You injured my best friend and you tried to kidnap my sister and got me instead!! What the hell are you planning?!" Damian's temper shot through the roof, a harsh glare crossing his features as the face of the warlock came into view. The smile that had been on warlock's face slightly dropped, he was not happy with Damian's attitude towards him. His long dark purple robe dragging behind him as he slightly walked forward, the heels of his boots softly scuffing the floor beneath him.
"I was just trying to get rid of the competition. That best friend of yours is really annoying. And so is that little sister of yours. They don't deserve you." He lifted his head, looking off to the side as if he were some kind of rich kid. His whole demeanor screamed privileged which is something that Damian had always disliked, he hated that the Warlock constantly chose to put people down because he simply thought he was better than them. "And what makes you think that you deserve me? I'm sorry to break it to you, Warlock. But I don't share the same twisted affection you have for me, for you. You need to learn how to take no for an answer, it's been pretty clear as to how I feel about you. I told you no, and no means no, asshole. So stop wishing that your fantasies would come true, because they won't. Now, I'm only going to say this once more. Stop bothering me, Baekhyun and my sister, leave us alone or things will get harder for you. I promise you that much, Warlock. You will not get away with anything if you so much as hurt a hair on Baekhyun or Elizabeth's head. I will personally take you down myself if I have to." He threatened, his green eyes slightly glowing a bright hue. A slight green aurora shined around his body, Damian's magic ability trying to shine through. The warlock glared harshly at Damian, his dark brown eyes glowing purple as he growled at him in anger.
"Fine." He snapped, "You don't want to share my affections that's fine. But you threatening me. You are going to regret it."
"What are you planning?"
"My revenge." He flicked his right wrist, causing a book to float into the air. The old book flew towards him, the warlock catching it with ease. He flipped the book open, finding the right page and started chanting. Damian started sweating slightly, becoming uneasy about what the warlock was doing. He looked around, trying to figure out if there was a way to get out of this but he knew that it wouldn't be easy. He shifted again once more in his seat, the binds tightening just a bit more. That's when he remembered that he always carried his lucky dagger with him everywhere, which the warlock had no idea he had. The dagger was kept in a pouch in his pocket, the pouch easily concealing the sharp bladed weapon that nobody could ever tell was there. The ground underneath them shook and somewhere far in the woods, a large hand popped out of the ground.
"What did you do?" Damian quipped, his eyebrows straightening.
"Your lovely little sister will be in for a big surprise when she wakes up." The warlock chuckled, making Damian grit his teeth and thrash in his chair.
Not too far from the disturbance appeared a young man, who had been sent to watch over Elizabeth, who was on a dangerous mission to get her brother back. He heard the commotion, becoming wary of what it was. But he had a job to do and a very big one at that, he decided to go on to do that job instead of worrying about the commotion. He spread his large, beautiful white wings and took off into the sky to look for her in the thick of night. Little did he know that the commotion was a golem, heading straight for the very person he had been assigned to protect.
