Dawn's POV

A nightmare was unfolding in front of my eyes as Riddle's magic was bringing the Rose Garden to ruins. The skies turned dark and the green grass and bushes withered around everybody. The atmosphere turned heavier along with the fog and the white and red roses were darkened and dying. Perry was clutching onto my shoulder hard not wanting to let go of me no matter what, while Grim was hiding behind my legs as a means of protection. "Waahh... The rose trees are all starting to float around the garden...!", Grim exclaimed in a panic.

The rose trees were pulled out of the ground by strong wind magic produced by Riddle; I couldn't believe what I was seeing and neither did Deuce. "This is a huge amount of magic! Is he really going to come after us with all that!?", Deuce shouted.

"Rose trees, heed my call! To pieces with them all!!!", Riddle shouted. At his command, the rose trees floated in the air and went ballistic as they tried to hit the students in this dorm. "This is bad! Move away!", Crowley shouted. To my horror, I saw that several of the rose trees were aiming right at Ace; I quickly ran to him and shouted, "Ace, hurry and escape!" I got him up on his feet, but it was too late; the rose trees were coming at us at full speed and we couldn't move in time.

Ace embraced me tightly, as a way to shield me from the rose tree's impact. We were expecting to get hit by the trees, but nothing came. I opened my eyes and saw cart suits floating in the air around us. Riddle's eyes widen at what he just saw. "!? This is...", Riddle said. "...H-huh? We're alive? What are these, card suits?", Ace asked as we both looked down; to our surprise, we saw multiple playing cards lying on the ground. We all looked around and saw that the other rose trees have become playing cards as well. "W-what happened?", I asked in shock.

"The rose trees have all been turned into card suits. How...?", Deuce began to speak until Trey stepped in between the group. "Riddle, stop now!", Trey said.

Cater was staring at the playing cards in great surprise as he recognized what type of magic it was. "Trey's "Doodle Suit"!? Eh... What's going on...?", he asked as he looked at Trey. Grim ran towards me and pointed at his and the boys' necks, "The magic sealing collar is gone too!", he exclaimed.

"I told you. My "Doodle Suit" can overwrite anything for a short period. So... I overwrote "Riddle's magic" into "my magic".", Trey explained. I could tell from the look in his eyes that he has had enough of Riddle's tyranny. I knew that this time Trey isn't going to be quiet about this like in the past; that he need to be the friend Riddle needs now and to help him.

"You're kidding... That's possible!?" It's a cheat!", Cater exclaimed. Trey looked at me and gave me a small smile. "Well... I was told that my Unique Magic could do more than just overwrite food.", Trey said. A bit of me felt proud knowing Trey is seeing his Unique Magic in a different light and smiled at him.

"Keh... Off with your Heads!", Riddle commanded as he pointed his staff at the boys. But instead of the magic sealing collars, playing cards were the only things that appeared. Riddle stared in shock as he couldn't believe this is happening and shouted. "When I have your heads! Why won't anything but card suits appear!?"

"Riddle, stop this. If you go any further, you will lose everything! Look at everyone's faces!", Trey shouted, pointing over at the few remaining residents who couldn't escape. All of them had horrified looks on their faces; seeing how their own Dorm Leader was willing to injure someone just so they could obey his rules was a new level of terror for them.

"W-was he seriously going through with it..."

"He went way too far..."

"A m-monster..."

Riddle's body shook as he looked at his hands; his eyes wide with shock and fury. "Huh...? Trey overwrote my magic...? Does that mean your magic surpasses mine?", he asked him.
