Chapter 61: The Beginning of the Rebellion

3rd POV

Ruggie Bucchi quickly left Side Street without anybody noticing him. He hurried back to his dorm to inform Leona about his success. Once there, he promptly went to his dorm's Magift Stadium where Leona and the others were waiting for him.

"Huff... Huff... Leona, I did it! Did you watch the broadcast?", asked Ruggie, in between breaths.

"Yeah, it was wonderful, Ruggie. Farewell Malleus. This year, I will take the throne.", Leona said with a pleased look. At long last, Malleus Draconia was taken out along with the rest of Diasomnia. With their greatest rival no longer standing, this year's tournament victory will now belong to Leona and all of Savanaclaw. With the other star players out of commission as well, nothing will stand in their way of taking it all from these herbivores.

"Heh heh, long live the king! Shishishi!", Ruggie cheered for Leona.

"Long live the king! Hooray!!", the rest of the Savanaclaw residents cheered. At first, they doubted if Leona's plan would work. But seeing the results made them respect their dorm leader to the point where they believed he was their king; to them, they owe everything they did up to now to Leona Kingscholar: The King who will rule all of Night Raven College. But just as everyone was revelling the sweet taste of victory...

"We heard everything."

The sound of a voice suddenly stopped the cheering as the Savanaclaw residents quickly turned around and saw Riddle, Ace, Deuce, Grim, Dawn, and their member Jack, standing behind them giving the Savanaclaw members stern expressions. Everyone was shocked to see them here at this time; Leona was even more surprised to see that girl with them as well, he figured she had something to do with this as he sent her a cold glare. Dawn felt her body shake a bit, but she didn't step back as she kept her eyes on the Savanaclaw Dorm Head.

"Well now, if it isn't Heartslabyul, all together. And one of our fresh babies is the cherry on top. Did you transfer to Heatslabyul?", Leona questioned Jack with a smirk. It didn't matter now; even if they did hear everything, they were too late to stop them. Even if that girl told them, they still didn't have hardcore evidence to prove anything.

"Right now, I just can't stand being on your side.", Jack declared with a furious look.

Leona's smirk soon turned into a scowl as he glared daggers at the defector of his dorm. "You damn traitor!", he growled at the wolf-eared boy.

"Your actions have sullied one of our traditions. As the Dorm Head of Heartslabyul that values "strictness", I cannot turn a blind eye.", Riddle tells him.

"Hey, you little brats. Could you save the "hero of justice" act for your fantasies?", Leona asked mockingly.

"Intentionally coming into our territory with such a small number of people, you must be outta your minds!", Ruggie told them as he folded his arms behind his head with a smirk.

"Leona, should we take them out?", one of the residents asked; he and several others stepped towards the intruders, wanting to "teach" these spies a lesson. Leona glared at the herbivores who dared oppose them, especially at the group's lone female. "Hmph. Go have some fun.", he told them as he gave a low chuckle. "Just make sure you save that girl for me. I have something special planned for her..."

A cold chill was sent down the guy's spine the moment they heard this, even Dawn felt scared as she had a good idea of what Leona might do to her. "Ace! Deuce! Take Dawn and get her out of Savanaclaw!", Riddle ordered; he automatically knew that Dawn would be Savanaclaw's prime target and the last thing he wanted was for her to be caught like this.

"Yes, Dorm Leader!", shouted Ace as he looked at Dawn. "Hurry Dawn! We have to get out of here!" Deuce responded, quickly grabbing her wrist as all three ran for the exit. As they ran, Dawn looked back and saw how Grim and the others fought Leona's onslaught. Just as they thought they were in the clear, the teens stopped as a firewall suddenly blocked their path; three members of Savanaclaw then surrounded them.
