Dawn's POV
Me and the guys were walking through the Rose Maze trying to get back to Ramshackle Dorm since Ace and Deuce were no longer able set foot at the Heartslaybul Dorm. I was still feeling dreadful about what Riddle said to me back at the Tea Garden.
"Aaah, I'm so pissed!! Screw that tiny, red tyrant! Does he think he's the Queen of Hearts or something?", Ace yelled in anger. He was reasonably mad about how he was exiled for bringing a Mont Blanc but was more furious upon learning what Riddle said to me back at the Tea Garden.
"Ace, calm down...", I told him, trying to ease him but to no avail.
"Calm down!? How can I after hearing from Grim about he insulted you like that!!", Ace argued back.
The last thing that I wanted was for Ace to do something reckless so I told him, "It's no big deal, the situation for you and Deuce is more important than my feelings right now."
"Like hell it is!", Ace shouted as he grabbed my shoulders and looked at me with concerned, yet caring eyes. "Just because he's the Dorm Leader, doesn't mean that he can just insult others like that, especially someone like you. You have every right to attend Night Raven College with me, Deuce, and Grim. So don't put yourself down because of someone else's bullshit."
Hearing Ace say that lifted a fog from my heart; he was right, even without magic, I am still a student here since Grim and I are a two-for-one package and I had every right to attend here. Drying up my remaining tears, I smiled at him and said, "Your right, I can't believe I almost let him get to me. Thanks, Ace." Perry ruffled his stomach and pulled out a tissue for me to dry my eyes. "And you too, Perry.", I said and he squeaked feeling happy.
"I disobeyed the Dorm Leader and got kicked out... I'm even further from being an honours student...", Deuce said, feeling dejected. Seeing him this downtrodden made my heart ache since he wanted to show himself and his mom as a great student.
"Guuuugh, this collar is heavy, and it hurts...", Grim moaned; I quickly picked him up in my arms and carried him as a way to ease his burden. Just as I was wondering what we could do now...
"Y'all look so stylish with your meowtching collars~"
We all looked up to see who said that and to our complete shock, it was... a ghost with no body!? "Buuuhh!!!", the boys yelled out. "Kyaaa!!!", I screamed as I held Grim tightly. "Kyuuu!!", Perry let out a loud squeak like he was screaming.
"Ffgyaaa!!! A floating head~~!!", Grim screamed in fright.
The floating head smiled in amusement from seeing our reactions to his appearance; he looked down and noticed that he had no body. He chuckled as the rest of his form appeared right before our eyes. "Oops. I fur-got to bring out my body.", he said. He had short, choppy purple hair with his bangs cut in a curve, as well as three bobby pins in his bangs on the left and right sides of his face. He had a pair of purple cat ears with a piercing of a speech bubble containing the word "up" in his left ear, as well as three arrow piercings in his right ear. He has yellow eyes with slitted cat pupils. He wore a baggy white shirt over a striped purple t-shirt and blue pants with various patches on them, as well as a purple belt that has the sentence "Can you stand on your head?" printed on it. He has purple painted nails and wears a ring shaped like a wide smile with eyes on his left hand.
While we were glad he wasn't a ghost, we were still shocked by how his body appeared so suddenly. "W-woah. So you actually have a body. Who're you?", Deuce asked, still in shock. The teen gave a wide smile as he introduced himself to us. "I'm Alchemi Alchemevich Pinka. I'm a great enigma with magic that's both like a person and like a cat."
