3rd POV

It was late at night in the Ramshackle Dorm; Dawn, Grim, and Perry were all fast asleep inside their room. Dawn felt herself losing consciousness as her dreams were overtaking her mind one more.

'I can hear the wind.', Dawn thought as she heard the howling sounds of the breeze. When she opened her eyes, she found herself standing on a peculiar rock formation that seemed to overlook a valley. "Another dream?", she said. Standing in front of her was a lion and a mandrill holding something in his arms. The male lion was soon standing near the edge of the rock formation while a hornbill bird was flying above him. The mandrill was soon at the edge while a female lion joined the male lion as the mandrill was holding a baby lion cub high in the air, towards the sky. The sun's rays soon broke through the clouds and shined their light upon the mandrill and lion cub. Just before Dawn could see what happened next, she found her eyes suddenly closing and was starting to fall back asleep.

Dawn slowly opened her eyes and found herself back in her room at Ramshackle Dorm.

"Myaaah~!! Meeooow~!! Nyanaaa~~..."

"Kyu!", Perry squeaked in fright as he quickly jumped from his sleeping spot to Dawn's shoulder.

She jumped momentarily and looked over to see Grim still sleeping; probably having an exciting dream. Seeing him like this made Dawn remember the dream she just experienced and thought, 'That dream scene was majestic.'

"Nngonya~ How's that... Do you understand the power of the Great Grim...", Grim said while still asleep.

Dawn couldn't help but giggle at the little scene playing out right now while Perry just gave Grim a deadpan look for his sleep-talking. She walked over to the corner of the bed where Grim was and placed a hand on his head. "Grim, wake up now.", said Dawn, giving him a slight shake.

"I showed that tyrant Riddle, who's boss~ Ffgah!?", Grim cheered as he snapped his eyes open. The moment he did, everything he was experiencing from his dream died down the moment he woke up. "What? The Ramshackle Dorm? It was only a dream... I thought I'd knock Riddle out and become the strongest wizard ever. So disappointed.", he said with a frown.

Dawn shook her head in amusement and gave Grim some head pats to make him feel better. "We've really been through a lot.", she said. It had been a while since she and her friends had managed to save Riddle from his Overblot state and Dawn discovered her new powers from her key. While she was looking forward to what else Night Raven College had to offer, it did not stop her determination to find a way to get back to her home; especially now that her phone travelled to Twisted Wonderland with her. It had all the photos of her friends and family on it, but she couldn't make or receive calls on it. 'I hope Riddle had some luck with trying to convince the Dorm Leader of Ignihyde to talk about my phone.', she thought as she stared at her phone.

"Okay! Time to get going... Another day closer to becoming a great wizard! Y'know~", Grim cheered and pumped his paw. This broke Dawn's train of thought as she saw how enthusiastic Grim was; she gave a small smile and got up to get dressed for the day. Since she was up early, she decided to make a special lunch for the two of them.

Half of the day went by as Dawn, Ace, Deuce and Grim were attending their classes while Perry was hiding out of sight in Dawn's bag. It was lunchtime, the three teens and Grim were now at the Cafeteria after Trien's History Class. Grim let out a giant yawn and said, "Ugh~ Professor Trein has to be using some sort of spell to put me to sleep. No matter how hard I resist, I lose to drowsiness!"

"Oh really?", replied Dawn as she raised an eyebrow at the little monster.

"You fell asleep five minutes in. That's not resisting at all.", said Deuce, scolding Grim.
