"Not this one. It makes you look fat and drains the color out of your face" his mother commented as he spun around for her. Seokjin huffed in annoyance. It had been two days since he left for the 'Perfect wedding Hanbok hunt' and they must have at least gone through HALF of the shops dedicated to them in the city and must have tried on at least fifty of them. Fifty! His legs were starting to hurt and he was hungry. This particular Hanbok was too heavy and even with the air conditioners blasting, he felt hot. Despite that he could not help but admire the delicate embroidery that ran across the belt and bottom of the hanbok. Personally he thought yellow look pretty on him but his mother and sisters were not having it when he said that he would take it.

Being the youngest of the family, since he would be the final wedding taking place in his home, his mother had decided to go all out. She was much more fired up than she was as he sisters' weddings and wanted to make all of it a grand affair. Despite all that, Seokjin had somehow convinced here to keep it a little low-key with no more than close friends and family from both sides being invited. His parents had not been happy but had agreed to it because Namjoon did too. Seokjin had absolutely no intention of being showed off at his own wedding. Speaking of his fiancé, Seokjin still had not gotten a chance to meet him face to face. He had received a painting of his but that was all. He had secretly hoped that he would tag along for purchasing the wedding hanboks but apparently he was too busy for that as well.

All that Seokjin knew about the family he was being married into was that they were even more powerful than his own and were highly respected. Namjoon was their only son and was two years elder to him. Jungkook had managed to acquire information from here and there but it did not help him lose his anxiety one bit. As the wedding day drew closer, so did his worry. Everyone around him seemed to be so lost in their preparations that no one had bothered to ask him how he was doing. He could not even catch Jungkook often these days. The kid was too busy in all the chores that were given to him. He had no friends to comfort him or spend some time with. Moreover, his mother had put him on an even stricter and intense diet. He had a long list of items he wasn't supposed to. He wasn't allowed to eat anything that made his face look bloated or heavy in fat which meant that he couldn't eat almost all the dishes he loved. So he sat on the table staring unhappily at his salad watching his family shove mouthfuls of meat in their mouths.

At present he was sure that if anybody made him try on another heavy too-large-for-him hanbok he would cry. That's when the owner pulled out a piece from the back cupboard. It was encased in a black cover. Without wasting time, she zipped it open revealing a sea greenish hanbok with a navy blue combination. His heard his sisters gasp as the entire hanbok was revealed to them before they squealed. Seokjin admitted that it was probably the most beautiful hanbok he had seen yet. It was simple and not too flashy, just how he wanted it and the colors matched beautifully.

There were small details in gold that traced the end of his sleeves and his collar. He was delighted to find that it fit just right! It was comfortable and the material did not make his skin itchy. The belt was of navy blue color too but it had embroidery of golden flowers all over it that made it look rich and expensive. When he stepped out of the trail room his mother smiled in approval. "My baby is so grown. I cannot believe how fast you grew up Jin-ah" she whispered when she came closer to inspect it. Those words made him emotional. It wasn't everyday that his mother was so affectionate towards him. It felt to be the center of her attention for once.

"Can we get this please?" he asked. "Of course dear. Whatever you like". The owner grinned as a pouch of gold coins was handed over to her, promising to deliver the dress two days before the wedding ceremony. "Alright! Now that we are done with the dress, let's get the shoes and jewelry!" his eldest sister exclaimed proceeding to drag a whining Seokjin behind her. Just when he thought the torture was over, it began.
