The shop, Seokjin discovered, was owned by Namjoon's uncle whom he absolutely did not remember meeting at their wedding even if he did say so.
It had a huge collection for alphas and omegas, with separate floors for the two kinds, the alpha clothing being on the upper floor. As he inspected the black blazer which caught his eyes, Seokjin knew that's its price was higher then even the most exquisite of the high quality items he had seen just by the feel of the cloth. It was luxury at its finest. He pulled it out, running his fingers over the soft thick fabric. It was a simple black blazer with black buttons but he assumed that Namjoon already owned one, moreover they were going to a ball so it would be better to have the alpha dress up in a suit.
The alpha and his in-laws were already browsing through the section when he reached there. "May I help you with anything sir?" a helper asked with a bow. "I would like to see suits fit for my husband" he said gesturing towards Namjoon. "Work wear or for an occasion sir?"
"Occasion please. And I would like it if it were in a light shade" Seokjin answered, following the beta as he led him to one side, showing him the rows and rows of hung suits, making him go crazy. He picked out a beige colored set, inspecting in closely. He doubted if the alpha wore too many colors at a moment as he had rarely seen Namjoon wear bright and loud colors. Namjoon was more of the sober style.
Not that he needed bright clothing to attract attention anyways. His aura did that well enough.
"That looks nice" Namjoon commented from behind him and he turned with a smile on his face. The alpha reached out and plucked it out of his hands, their fingers lightly brushing for a few seconds, sending tingles all over his body. Thank heavens the alpha was far too busy studying the piece of cloth rather than noticing Seokjin who was trying his best to control himself from squealing.
"Try it?" Seokjin asked hopefully. Namjoon looked into his eyes before nodding. Personally, he wasn't fond of light colors but if Seokjin thought it would look good, it wouldn't hurt to try right?
The omega frowned as the beta helper dramatically gasped when Namjoon stepped out, running to the alpha to help him in the blazer. "Relax Seokjin. It's common for helper to do that for their clients" he told himself, immediately regretting thinking that because there was no way that the beta was only helping. He held his husband's hand pretending to smoothen the non-existent wrinkles on his sleeves, hands lingering on his biceps for more than appropriate seconds. Had he not checked himself quick enough, he would have growled out loud.
So what if they weren't close? Only Seokjin was allowed to touch him like that.
Namjoon did not seem to notice what the beta was doing and stepped away, walking towards him. "How does it look?" he asked nervously. The omega blinked at him, remembering to focus on his alpha rather than the beta who refused to take his hands of from his shoulders.
He beckoned him closer, pretending to fix his collar, pinching the beta's hands off his husband's shoulder. Namjoon thankfully did not notice what happened and he smiled up at him, successfully distracting him. "It looks nice, but I think a dark color would look better on you" he said softly the man nodding after him in agreement.
They made their way to the dark section, his mother-in-law having already picked a dark blue suit for him. It was rather simple, but he had come to know now that Namjoon's style was minimalistic. Moreover, the color gave the entire suit a royal touch, so he found himself immediately agreeing with her choice.
Namjoon checked himself in the mirror, humming lowly as he fixed his hair. The black shirt fit just right emphasizing his built, the pants fitting snugly on his waist. His mind went back to the morning incident and he couldn't help but blush as he recalled the omega's reaction.
