The large wooden doors of the castle creaked open after announcing his arrival. From the gap between the two curtain covering his window, Seokjin watched as the carriage entered the palace premises. Guards dressed impeccably in their smartly buttoned up olive green suits and high black fur hats stood on either side, large swords hanging from their hips, a hand clasped on the the hilt at all times.

He heard the rest of the omegas before he saw them, their high pitched laughs and voices ringing in the air. The carriage slowed to a stop in a few moments and he returned to his earlier relaxed position, giving the makeup a last minute check before he was unveiled to the rest of the omegas.

The door opened, revealed a guard standing outside who bowed low to him in greeting. Seokjin gave him a small smile and nod in acknowledgment as he took hold of the gloved palm that was offered to him. Holding the fabric of the bottom between his fingers, careful to avoid accidently rumpling it and stepped on the steps provided, praying so that he did not trip, fall over and make a fool out of himself at the first meet.

"Lord Kim Seokjin of Ilsan has arrived" the guard announced in a shrill, shark voice making him flinch. Swallowing, he turned gaze to the front when he was sure that his foot was securely on the ground and balance was maintained, stiffening as he watched all the eyes in the area look at him. "You are Kim Seokjin of Ilsan. Act like it" his mother-in-law's words echoed in his mind as he smiled and stepped ahead, past the section of guards placed at the entrance of the hall, all bowing low in his presence.

It was the first time that Seokjin understood the actual magnitude of his position as one of the most beautiful omegas in the Kingdom along with being the mate of Lord Kim Namjoon. The hall fell silent as he stepped in, some omegas even gasping as he came closer to the crowds, parting way for him to walk into.

There were about thirty omegas, of all diverse ages present, dressed flashy, cladded in expensive jewelry all over. Taking a deep breath, he plastered the sweetest smile he could muster, ensuring to walk with poise and grace. His mother who have been so proud had she seen her son walk among the kingdom's most elite right now.

"Seokjin hyung!" a familiar voice called and instantly, the smile was replaced by a genuine grin as he hurried towards the place of origin, ignoring those that stood in his path, happily embracing Taehyung as he held arms wide open. "Hey Tae" he greeted the younger as they pulled away, blushing as the omega scanned him from head to toe, mouth slightly open.

"Oh my! Looks like I need to remind Namjoon hyung how lucky he is again" he teased, laughing as Seokjin pushed him lightly, covering his red face. Only when the younger wrapped his arms around him did he remove them, placing a small kiss on the top of his hair. "Eunwoo-shi is extremely lucky to have such a bright an loving omega by his side too" Seokjin responded with a giggle, patting Taehyung's back.

"If only he saw it this way too hyung" Taehyung thought as his smiled faltered for a moment, ensuring that he hid it before his brother-in-law could notice the change in demeanor. "How have you both been doing?" he asked, smirking as Seokjin's blush deepened, eyes turning into tiny crescents as he smiled. "We're doing great Taehyung-ah" came the answer.

"No wonder you have gotten prettier hyung. Love has done wonders to you" the younger complimented, mirroring the smile fondly, heart melting as Seokjin blushed and nodded, not denying it. "Is hyung treating you well? He does not ignore you does he? And I hope he does not shut himself in that stupid study of his-"

"Calm down Tae" Seokjin laughed at the fiery trail of questions directed towards him. "He is your brother, so I do not think that he would not treat me well. The fact is, I have never been spoiled like this before. There are times I have to tell him to stop pampering me, afraid that he might go overboard" he giggled.
