J for Jane

I wrote a song-kind of. I was picking mulberries from my favorite tree to make jam that I'm going to sell at the towns farmers market. Man, I love that sentence. I was thinking about how she has her necklace and then I had an idea. I realized just how much Spanish I actually know, and put it to writing.

It's not amazing. I made it with the very little Spanish I know, and the mulberries. The lyrics change to whatever you want it to be, and it kind of sounds like Italian "Victoria's Secret" mixed with Serospanda. Most of the lyrics are the same but I kind of love it.

Ayuda mi amor
Ayuda mi amor
Ayuda mi eclipse
Ayuda por favor

Ayuda mi amor
Ayuda mi amor
Donde esta mi casa
Ayuda por favor

For the most part, only the third line changes, but there are some exceptions.

Ayuda mi esposa
Lo siento bebe
Sometimes I throw in some Italian and say Ayuda Cara Mia.

It can change however I want. Sometimes it might not even be Ayuda, it could be vamos. One time, I said mi novia conforador as the last line. Is it Spanish? No clue, but it kind of sounds like it. I don't think it is, but I put it through Google translate and it said 'comforter,' so that line would be my girl comforter. NEVER MIND. I JUST PUT THE WHOLE LINE THROUGH GOOGLE TRANSLATE. That's kind of embarrassing. My subconscious wants something.

One time, in place of the third line, I said ayuda mi princesa and blushed a bit. She would understand. Then, with the limited Spanish I know, I said very clearly, "yo tengo mi princesa. He can go fuck off and get a different one." He might've had her first, but she's mine.

I just realized why I never call you by your name. Your birth name or Grey. You don't like Mia, and Grey seems too formal. I always want to call you mine.

I used to write songs a lot. About 7-8 a week in the strongest times. I threw out most of them, but I kept some and still remember how a lot of them go. This one, though, is different.

If I knew like, 12 hours ago that "home" is "hogar," I would've said donde esta mi hogar.

Sometimes I would thrown in ayuda mi familia or ayuda mi casa in there, but I'm just now realizing that I never said ayúdame (I probably would've said ayuda mi) I just said ayuda, mi amor. Because somehow, mi novia will help.

Now, I sing it whenever I miss her.
