I think I've figured out what it feels like to be Mia for a day.
I was wearing my Korn shirt that Dan got me and three people commented on it. I also was given a pen by math teacher. Sometime during the lesson, when the class was quiet, I said, "my favorite pen just died. She asked me what kind it was and proceeded to pull out an exact replica of my pen and gave me it to keep.
That's like, the most affection from people other than my friends I've gotten in school this entire year.
I think most of that was because I had my hair down. I'm less intimidating that way.

Update-the next day when my hair was back in a hat people bullied me on volleyball. I straightened my hair this morning. Let's see how people react.

I was on call with my dad and at one point my grandma came over to the phone and asked what I was doing. I was cutting my hair with fabric scissors.
