Your scars came from a dragon attack when you were younger, it was one of the reasons why Stoick was so obsessed with getting rid of the dragons. You were born and raised in the middle of the war, the phrase kill or be killed raised you, unlike your brother who was saved from the war. You had to survive it, and you did. You are one of the most fearless and ruthless Viking on Berk, some might argue the whole archipelago but there are a few people that have gotten to know you and know who you truly are.
