I stared out of the carriage taking in the views of the forbbiden forest, I had always been drawn to it, no matter how much I explored it, it felt like there was still so much hidden away.
I glanced forward at Hogwarts and was again left in awe of the casltes beauty. The soft yellow lights filtering out of the windows that danced down onto the waves of the lake below.

The carved statues of gargoles that adorned the towers and entrances. The vines that wrapped around the walls. The conversation between Seb and Ominis died down as the gates slowly opened. "I never thought I would ever step foot back here after what I had done." Seb softly whispered, as we passed the gates.

I entertwined my hand with his and pulled him closer to me, " you deserve to be here like any of us, our mistakes are in the past. It's a chance for us to all start over and enjoy the last two years we have here." Seb brought my hand to his mouth and softly kissed it. " You always know exactly what to say in my times of doubt Ali."
Ominis cleared his throat, " I know my presense has momentarily been forgotten, but it's time to head into the great hall." Ominis stood up and quickly made his way out of the carriage.

Seb looked at me and smiled, pulling me out of the carriage he pulled me into his arms.
"I wish we were in the same house, it pains me to be away from you after not having my eyes on you all summer.
Promise me to meet me in our place tomorrow morning?"

"Of course I will Seb not even raging hippogriffs could keep me away." Seb smiled and pulled me close, my breathe hitched in my mouth as I felt his lips upon mine.
Sparks were sent all over my body infiltrating every part of me. As our lips molded together,
"Children, I think that is more than enough of a show you are putting on, lets not have the first years start with seeing the two of you kissing face in front of the doors." Caretaker Lament chuckled and walked towards the dock.

My cheeks had turned a blazing red, how embarassing to have been caught by him.
Seb kissed my forehead and guided me into the great hall. " I will see you tomorrow Ali."
He walked towards Ominis who was already sitting down at the Slytherin table.

I spotted  Natsai sitting next to Garreth, I quicly picked up my pace I had missed both of them so much they were my closest friends in Gryffindor.
Natsai had grown a few inches taller, and she looked so much like her mother, her hair was beautifully woven into thick intricate braids that reached halfway down her back.

Garreth had also grown up but somehow managed to keep his boyish looks about him, with an all too familiar glimmar in his eye. I laughed knowing that he must be telling Natsai about his latest invention. I quicly sat down to Natsai, "Natsai please tell me Garreths new invention won't turn him blue for a week like the last potion did."
"Ali what a sight for sore eyes, it's been too long. Garreth was explaining how his new potion is sure to be a hit. We will have to see if he is right when he finally tests it."

"You can joke all you want Natty, but this new potion is going to be a masterpiece. It will give you so much energy that you can stay up for days."

"Garreth I look forward to finding out if it works Merlin  knows I could have used a potion like that last year."
As Natsai's and Garreths continued I glanced over hoping to get a peak at Seb only to meet Ominis's eyes across the room.
"Attention students it's the start of a new year here at Hogwarts I endever you to make the most of your time here in pursuing  your education. After the turbulence of last year I implore all of you to make this a year to never forget.  Now it is time to bring in the first years for the sorting hat ceremony. Lets give a round of applause  to the new students of Hogwarts.
