-A few months later-
*Ominis POV*
Poppy held my hand as she manuevered us around the rocks.
As much as it warmed my heart I felt a little childish to be led aound as if I couldn't find my way around.
We had headed towards the abandaned house on the outskirts of Hogsmeade.
It was a tradition that the sixth and seventh years from every house joined together and celebrated All Hallows eve.As much as I was excited to be apart of this tradition, I had rather enjoyed celebrating last years at the three broomsticks with Seb and Alicia.
Slightly out of breath Poppy muttered out that we were close, I could feel the pulses of the music that came spewing out of the house.
I wish I could see what Poppy had dressed up as. She had told me she was a forest sprite so I naturally had dressed up like an elf in hopes to match her vibe.I could feel her breath quicken as we got closer, she would never admit it but I knew she was uncomfortable around large groups of people.
I squeezed her hand in assurance that I would be by her side at all times.
We had only grown closer in these last few months, her laughter was addictive and the way she smelled of wild flowers always entranced me to no end.
I will always be so greatful that Seb helped push me out of my comfort zone."Are you ready for the night of your life Poppyflower? Smiling as I knew she loved it when I called her that. Seb and Alicia should already be inside and Natsai and Garreth are not far behind."
"I'm so nervous Omi you know how awkward I can get at parties, I would much rather be spending time with just you and Highwing."
I let out a small laugh as I to would much rather do that as well.
But Seb had made me promise to at least go and have a butterbeer with him. " I promise as soon as we say our hellos we can leave and make our way over to Highwing."
Poppy squeesed my hand, "well let us get this over with than." As she pulled me into the house. The noise overwhelmed my ears as they say when one sense dulls others tend to become more sharp. It is often why I have always loved going down to the boathouse it was my place of solitude when I needed the silence.
"Poppy, Ominis over here,Alicia and I have saved you both some butterbeer we the party has already gong through three kegs."
I could feel Alicias eyes on me I had never known how exactly I could tell but I just knew.
Alicia handed Poppy and I two flagions full of butterbeer. "I am so happy you two could make it, I'm sorry Poppy that you had to come here, but Sebastian never gives up and he wanted to share this memory with all of us."
Alicia had quickly adapted to the change in our friendship and whatever fears she had before were no longer there.
We all chatted for awhile, Seb had excused himself to go say hi to his quidditch buddies and had not returned in sometime.Alicia set down her empty tankard and said she was going to look for Seb as he must have gotten distracted.
I pulled Poppy close and rested my head on her shoulders softly kissing her neck.
I could feel her face warm up with blush and her breathes became more uneven.
"Omi not in front of others," but before she could finish chastasing me I heard Alicias foot steps turn into a run, I could tell she was crying as she ran out of the house.Kissing Poppy on the head I am so sorry to leave you here but I can not go after Alicia, she must be rather upset to leave the party in that way."
Poppy hugged me "it's okay I see Natty over by the fireplace, go check on Alicia."I ran out the door I knew I would find her at the boat house as we both had found it to be a place to go to when we were upset.
