Don't be foolish

*Alicias POV*
"Don't be foolish Alicia, even though you have done the world a solid, you are not above being punished for attacking another student even if it is well deserved."
In this moment I had wished it had been Seb to be at my side. He understands the dark parts of me.

He wouldn't have stopped me from taking revenge on Saraphina he would have only regreted not being able to help take revenge on her.
I pushed Ominis away and walked over to Natsai and Poppy.
They had become best friends when Poppy had cane across Natsai's animagus form.
I sat down and piled my plate full of food.

After catching up with both of them , I noticed that Sebastian had never came into the great hall.
Maybe I am being a little paranoid but he has never been late for any meal that was served. I pushed my food around on my plate hoping that something would look appetising.
Natsai looked at me with confusion and concern.
"Are you feeling well Ali?
We can take you back to your dorm." I politely declined . I'm just a bit tired nothing I can't handle.
Nastai pinned her eyebrows together I don't think she believed me but she let me be.
"Natsai, Ali I have something I want to tell you but you have to promise this stays between us."

"On my honour" both Natsai and I said at the same time.
"Well over the summer my grandma was invited to stay with the Gaunts, they didn't think it fitting that a pureblood witch to be living on her own. Exp after what happened last year."

Natsai looked at her inquizitively, " I have a feeling that isn't the secret you have wanted to confide us in."

"It isn't, well over the summer Ominis and I kept one another company, Poppys face turned a brilliant shade of red before she uttered something that shocked me to my core. I think I have developed serious feelings for him, I got to see the side of him that you probably know Ali."

I was stunned, I had never even knew that Poppy had stayed at the Gaunts during summer break.
Ominis had never mentioned it in the letters he had wrote me.
Gathering myself together, " he is a good one to have a crush on but you know he swore off dating after what Azalia did to him I don't want you to get to far  if it leads to nothing."

Poppy winced at my words, I hadn't realised how cold I had come across.  Poppy gulped, " I know he has but I can't help it I am 100% under his spell. He is so devestatingly handsome too but his personality is quite nice as well."

"Well you never know maybe if you told him of your feelings he might change his mind, you are the kindest person I know Poppy, he would be lucky to have you as a girlfriend."

Poppy instantly brightened up and smiled " you really think so Ali?"
Natsai shot me a quick look and chimed in. " of coure he would be silly if he didn't give you a chance.
Poppy glanced over at Ominis and frowned when she noticed the group of girls around him.
"How am I to confess when he never seems to be alone anymore?"
The chair next to me squeeked as it was being pulled up.
"What kind of gossip am I missing out on ladies?"
Sebastian smiled widely at me.
I have missed you today, if only I could hold you right now I would never let you go."

"That could be possible all you have to do is put your arms around me."
Seb chuckled as he touseled his hair. "In your dreams sweetheart, I'm going to enjoy not having to do any homework."
Sebastian slowly looked towards Poppy, " I didn't mean to evesdrop but I can get Ominis alone if you would like to confess to him."
Poppys face turned bright red again before nodding.

My stomach started twisting in knots. It was confusing I should be happy that one of my best friends has the courage to confess her feelings. Expecially knowing her feelings were for a guy like Ominis but it felt like I had been punched in the gut.
